Even the parachute guys (2 of them) work pretty well. The bucket is good for storage.The price was a little high, especially with 50 soldiers for [$] for sale right next to this product.

    Not really a collectable...

    I expected more out of this. First of all, if these are movie collectibles, why isn't the bucket to scale? This goes up to Woody's knees, not to his waist like the movies...Read complete review

    I expected more out of this. First of all, if these are movie collectibles, why isn't the bucket to scale? This goes up to Woody's knees, not to his waist like the movies. And, there are 500 soldiers in Andy's, not 72. The parachutes are very flimsy and rip. I do suggest this, since it is the only Bucket-O-Soldiers made, but if they could make another one, I would like that. The soldiers without the parachutes and totally movie accurate and not your typical [...] army men, these are sturdy and detailed. I love and dislike this at the same time.

    Ahh, the classic army men, great for toy story fans and toy soldier collectors alike. The price is a little steep, but they are EXTREMELY durable, like 'step on and survive unscathed' durable. Just a heads up to collectors though, they are a little taller than the classic Tim Mee toys figures. the Parachute guys are great, they work pretty well and are designed not to get ridiculously tangled in their chutes, but they have more difficulty standing due to their softer plastic and parachute weight. The chute its self is pretty durable, as they survived my german shepard trying to eat them.

            If you have a child asking for toy soldiers - you know mom, the green ones - then this is a good brand to buy. There are plenty of soldiers in this bucket to set up all kinds of battles scenes and they are very durable. Much better quality than other brands I have seen. The guns are straight, not bent, the men stand on their own without falling over, and there are no sharp edges left over from the molding process. The parachutes are a nice feature that has added to the play value for my child. A good product that met my expectations.

                I can't believe how lazy people are these days. Seriously?! It is NOT a big mess to clean up! And who cares if it is not scale... this is probably the most accurate thing Thinkway has produced that is Toy Story. These soldiers are a bit more expensive than others but WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better quality than others. You WILL NOT I REPEAT NOT regret getting this.
