Gave this to my daughter for her birthday. She played with it for maybe 20 minutes and talks about how boring it is. She will say that the commercial makes them look like more fun than they are. It is cheaply made. Way too expensive.

My kids were stoked to get this for their birthday, but it only got fooled with the first day they got it. The reason? It falls apart, the hamster doesn't interact with the car as he should, and the toy is generally just garbage. Sorry, there's no better way to sum it up; this thing is lame. The garage will not hold together. I guess you could super glue it, which I may try, but I shouldn't have to. When we purchase a toy we expect it to do as it says, just as any other product. This product fails to stay assembled, and the hamster won't properly go in and out of the car. Do not believe the hype, ZhuZhu Pets aren't all that.

There will be a lot of tears on Christmas Day. First from the little ones who wanted one and didn't get it and second from the parents who spent all that money on this useless, cheap toy. So glad we decided to give this to our daughter for her birthday to check the quality instead of waiting to Christmas and finding out it is a complete piece of junk. The hampster by them selves are fun if you have a spot without carpeting, but every accessory is junk and we returned to the store. The hampsters were played with one day and haven't been touched since.

I bought them for my 6yr old grandaugter
and i know she will love them all.
Make sure u read all the directions before
using them.
Remember to put NEW batteries in them
The ones they come with r for the store
use only
so they r weak
Easy to use runs around and my dog
is afraid of them lol
having fun with them
So I am sure my grandaugher will love
them this Christmas and so will her mom !!

I agree with what the other mom said...it'll end up in the closet a month out. My daughter(7yrs) has 1 hamster and the car. Of course she doesn't know we bought the other hamsters and add ons for Christmas. She's played with it a couple of times, the garage comes apart so that was a waste. She has stuck the hamster in the car a time or two and thinks it's cute but it's already lost it's shine. I bet by Feb all these Zhu Zhus will be listed on [...] as EUC. Children do not want to have to tape their new items or have to replace batteries constantly or have to make sure everything is set up perfectly. They want to play. Not have to sit and wait for an item to be fixed before they can play...and then fixed again...then fixed again.

This is really cute however the doors to the garage easily come off. Its a bit tedious to keep re-attaching the doors. However the car is adorable how the zhu zhu pet can drive it around. Works great on hardwood flooring. I think its a great product wish it would be better quality.

Love the idea, but as soon as they come out of garage, Hamsters back out of car or run into something. Great if you have ongoing open space. Horrible on carpet.

I purchased this entire set for my 4 yr old daughter about a month ago and it is the greatest toy ever! Yes, the garage does fall apart and the doors fall off, but all I used was one piece of tape all the way around to secure the roof and since then there hasn't been a problem at all!! You can't even see the tape, and it is a very easy fix. Some reviews say that the hamsters get stuck and I do not find that the hamsters get stuck at all. Most people just don't read the instructions!!!!! First and foremost you have to replace the batteries in all the hamsters when you get them home. The batteries are only for in-store use and it says so on the instructions and on the website as well. Once you change the batteries....wow watch these little guys go! Secondly you have to pay attention to the tunnel directions, again in the instructions and the website, otherwise they will not work correctly. Thirdly, they do NOT get stuck, they make their own little decisions...just let them go and see what they do! Very interactive! My daughter LOVES these and has played with them non stop since she got them over a month ago. Great value!

This product is ok. The garage does come apart easily. The hamster does ok in it on hard floors. Not what I expected. My daughter likes it, but wasn't impressed, this will end up being one of those toys that end up in the closet a month after it's bought.
