Product Description

The Chicco Bravo Stroller is a new, innovative tri-modal stroller platform. The Bravo is designed exclusively for use with the #1 rated Chicco KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seat. The Bravo provides three unique modes of use to adapt to your changing travel needs as baby grows. In its first mode for use with infants, the Bravo seat and canopy can be removed easily revealing a lightweight car seat carrier - most helpful when baby is always in the KeyFit. During the transition time when baby still rides in the KeyFit but may also like to sit up and see, the Bravo functions as a travel system. When your baby outgrows the KeyFit, the Bravo is a full featured toddler stroller perfect for everyday travel.

The Bravo stroller comes loaded with features to make strolling comfortable for baby and convenient for you! Simply lift the handle under the seat and the front wheels swivel into position allowing a self-standing compact fold. The multi-position, reclining seat, and all-wheel suspension help to create just the right ride. The large storage basket is easily accessible, and a height-adjustable handle easily accommodates both Mom and Dad. Other features include an extendable canopy with window, and linked brakes. (Usage: from birth to 50 lbs)

Comments about Chicco Bravo Stroller - Pulse:

I LOVE this stroller. Having 3 kids in the past 9 years, I've had quite a few strollers. I thought I loved the Chicco Cortina back when it came out-easy fold, etc.. But this is now my new favorite! I love the fold. Yes, it doesn't stay locked, but I find that it doesn't bother or get in the way when putting into and out of my Camry's trunk. I put it in and take it out by using the fold handle. Once I figured out my own little trick to setting it up after taking it out, it's a breeze. I'm looking forward to taking this to Disney this summer--it will be fantastic for folding and getting on and off the bus!

The stroller is lightweight and super easy to push. I have long legs and often kick the wheels of many strollers out there--but with the adjustable handle-I have yet to do that with this one. I also have the keyfit infant seat and it goes in and out beautifully. It hasn't been too sunny, and my son is still quite little so I cannot comment on the shade, but it appears to block a decent amount of sunlight (vs. the cortina and other strollers).

There is a bar to put in the infant seat--but when I do not have my little guy in his, I still leave the bar there. It's great for clipping toys to and other things for him to look at. (and that helps with "forgetting" the bar and not being able to use the infant seat)

Comments about Chicco Bravo Stroller - Pulse:

This is a great baby stroller, easy to open and close, light and in a beautiful red color. I am really happy with my choice. Very easy for open and close with only one hand (baby is in the other hand!). Also has a great size when closed, will fit in any trunk.

Comments about Chicco Bravo Stroller - Pulse:

I never understood why my family and friends all ended up with 3 strollers apiece to accommodate their growing children until I started stroller shopping. Before investing a gajillion dollars into this baby equipment, I researched what was available in stroller technology like it was my job. What I really wanted was a stroller like the Graco Modes - one that transitioned from frame stroller to toddler stroller. However, I knew that I wanted a Chicco or Britax car seat because they both performed better than Gracco in crash testing. I wasn't about the buy an inferior car seat just to have a great stroller. So I decided to examine the Chicco and Britax compatible strollers to help me make a decision.

Although I liked how lightweight and easy-to-maneuver the Britax B-Agile was, I did not like that it had such a TINY storage basket. I knew that whatever stroller I chose would get a lot of miles at the grocery store, airport, and mall - all of which require ample storage space. So I ended up with a Chicco car seat and Keyfit Caddy frame stroller when my son was born. I figured that I would cross the toddler stroller bridge when my kiddo was older. THEN, Chicco came out with the Bravo. I only wish it had been a few months earlier so I wouldn't have put money into the Keyfit Caddy (although it is also an excellent stroller)!

Here are my thoughts on the Bravo:
Pros: Easy to fold, easy to use the harness, large storage basket, stands when folded, compatible with my car seat, transitions from frame stroller to travel system to toddler stroller, large and high-quality canopy, easy to maneuver, smaller than Graco Modes when folded, height adjustable handle which Graco doesn't have (my husband is almost a foot taller than me - so this is great!)

Cons: Does not lock when folded - this can make it a little more difficult to get into your trunk than if it locked. Requires adapter bar in order to connect your car seat - I forgot mine the other day (we usually use the stroller as a toddler stroller) and I had to wake my sleeping son to get him out of his car seat and put him in the stroller. Only allows for rear-facing infant seat connection, even as a frame stroller - Graco Modes allows car seats to be inserted forward or rear-facing when in frame stroller mode. Five-point harness only - Graco Modes has a harness that can be five or three-point, depending on the needs of the kiddo; I imagine that would have come in handy when my son is older and doesn't want to be as restricted. No locking front-wheels - I don't really care about this feature, but it's worth mentioning. Somewhat difficult to unfold - sometimes when I try to open the stroller, it falls over.

Overall, it's almost exactly what I was looking for in an all-purpose stroller. Just wish it locked when folded and accommodated a car seat in the front-facing position :)
