Getting parts and or crib rails to convert to a full size bed is near impossible. They say you can order it online and ship to store then they will cancel your order and transfer you to a million different people who have no answers. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Contacted the crib manufacturer who stated that the only way to get parts is from here, so good luck!

Once the bed is put together, it looks great. I love the color and the overall look. I skipped the toddler bed conversion and moved my 18 month old into his full sized big boy bed when he outgrew his crib. I purchased an after market safety bedrail, but unfortunately it would not work with this bed. But my son has been in his new bed for a month and he hasn't fallen off. He actually loves climbing in and out of bed on his own. It should be noted that the slats provided are not sufficient to support a mattress on their own. I tried that after reading other reviews, but the slats are spaced too far apart. It not only voids the mattress warranty without additional support, but the bed noticeably sags under any weight. If you don't want to use a boxspring then you will need to get either additional slats or a piece of plywood to use under the mattress.

recieved this product fast and was easy to put together. My son is 3 and only weighs 38LBS he will be in this bed for many years to come. We bought a pillow top full size mattress no box spring perfect height for him.

My 2 year old decided she was not going to sleep in a CRIB anymore. My husband had a new bed partner for 6 nights. So we ordered the rails and an 11" memory foam mattress(no boxspring) as well as CARS and Toy Story sheets and converted the crib to the full bed....skipped the daybed conversion. She LOVES her BIG GIRL BED. And mommy got her bed and hubby back. Just do it. She has not once wanted to sleep in our bed since.

The crib was easy to convert to a full size bed. My toddler loves it. However, the bed sits too high with a standard mattress and boxspring so we had to return the boxspring in order to make the bed's height appropriate for a toddler.

It is a little pricey, but it does come with slats, which is a bonus that I wasn't expecting. Nice quality materials, what keeps it from getting 5 stars is that the rails do not have pre-drilled holes for the slats. To people who are saying it is too tall: slatted beds are made so that you don't have to put box springs under the mattress - you can put a mattress straight on the slats.

The rails were pricey, but the bed is very sturdy. Assembly was easy, I did it by myself, and I am far from handy. However, when our new mattress and boxspring were delivered and placed in the bed, it looked horrible. The rails make the bed so high, that a standard mattress and boxspring came as high as the footboard. Way too high to let my 2 year old sleep in! Took the boxspring out and the mattress seems to have enough support. So either buy the low profile boxspring or just a mattress. Without the boxspring, is really a beautiful bed.
