I have mixed reviews on this product, as the items varied so greatly in durability and functionality. the drum bit the dust in about ten minutes. I adjusted the drumhead and replaced the screws, but it happened again immediately.

the two things that have really withstood the test of time and play were the shaker and guitar. they come out every now and then but because these were not even mediocre as far as musical quality goes they don't get a whole lot of use. I'm glad it was a gift.

We just bought this yesterday for my daughter's birthday and the drum is already broken. The cardboard piece with Princess Tiana on it came out and we cant get it back in. We thought about taking it back but we figured she can just flip it over and play on the plastic side, which actually in my opinion works better. None the less, my daughter loves it but I don't think it's worth the money.

We purchased this for our daughter's 5th birthday and she loves it!!! Her and her sister play with it every day. They both love the guitar in there and the horn. The only thing that was not so great was the drum. It was kind of made of a cardboard at the top. The bottom part has hard plastic on it which was great, wish they would of done that for the top. Within not even 24 hours my daughter accidently stepped on it and it busted the top of the drum. So that is the only thing that was not so great. If your kids are not as rough on toys as mine then you will be fine. I still though encourage people to get this set, it was well worth the purchase!

My daughter got this for her birthday this year. Out of all the other toys, she wanted to play with it first! She loves all of the instruments that come with it. The only thing is that the trumpet is a little hard for her to make music; so I just play it while she plays with all the others!! Great for toddlers and even adults to spend some time with their children.

Cute toy and love that they're not loud. Kids really love them. Could have been made a little tougher. My 21 month old son, broke the drum the first day we had the set. Just wanted to let people know that it won't be a toy that will last too long.
Also think it would be cool if the Ray shaker should be glow in the dark.

They use the instruments constantly.They have had several parades through the house. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the trumpet is a little difficult for my 4 yr old daughter. She was very happy that she was able to blow some sound after practicing. I love this toy!! More importantly, our children love it!

just bought this for my 4 year-old and now the 2 year-old and 7 year-old are 'playing' along too!great set of pretend play insturments, not for professional aspirations.nothing with hard edges or too complicated.the best part is none of the insturment are too loud or obnoxious.symbols are the loudest but there are so many other choices in this set it is easy to put them away without too much resistance!Great fun for little kids(2-8) learning hand eye cordination and rhythm.
