Beautiful barbie house. My daugther loves it. It was an 8th birthday gift from her mommom and her and her friends have been enjoying it everyday for hours. I don't agree with alot of the negative reviews. We had no trouble at all with putting it together or getting any thing to light up or make sounds. Everything works great. As a matter of fact if you ever put a dollhouse together from imaginarium you would really appreciate what a piece of cake this is to put together. Happy with purchase and would highly recommend. Its your classic barbie house that we all loved and wanted growing up.

This House is wonderful I can't believe people could complain. First of all it was very easy & fast to put together & very durable. Both my 6 & 3 year old play with it with no problems but they are not rough kids. All the special effects work great & its so worth the $ one room of furniture sold separatly can be between 10-20 dollars this comes with everything, fully furnished, all the food, dishes,silverware, even tiny toothbrush & paste. There are alot of small pieces so this is not for any one who still puts things in their mouths. We are Very happy Santa brought this this Christmas.

I was worried after all bad reviews, but figured how bad could it be? Well, I put it together, it seemed flimsy, but once all snapped together does seem a bit sturdy. The furniture is junk. The chairs are flimsy, the shower door doesn't close. The sound effects are fun, but my daughter's FAVORITE feature is the TV that comes up out of the fireplace. Well, she's had it now for a few hours & the TV no longer comes up or goes down all the way. I am happy overall with the product, am upset that it's starting to break so soon, and MOSTLY, I am upset over the ridiculous price. This product is not worth 1/2 what they are charging...even on sale w/ the free remote car & doll that came with it. That said, my Daughter (5) LOVES it.

I have a 6 and 9 year old that play with this house non-stop. Very durable! It comes with alot of pieces, but they are very easy to essemble. My 12 year old daughter put it together with out any help from anyone, just the instructions. Pricey, but well worth the money!

My husband and I went out of our way to get this for our daughter for Christmas, as it was at the top of her wish list. [...] The plastic is so flimsy, we were worried that it was going to break just putting it together. My opinion is that it was WAY overpriced! My daughter loved it Christmas morning! it is the best barbie house yet. I have the 1970's version of the townhouse and it is very flimsy compared to this one. LOVE IT!!! My daughter plays with it for hours. Way to go Mattel!

A really cute and detailed townhouse. It did require quite a bit of assembling. Keep in mind that its all plastic, which means its only as durable as the material. My only complain is that the lighting system doesn't work.
