This is the greatest chair. Most of the Germans have this kind of chair anyway, which for me says a lot. So anyway. We bought this chair when my daughter was 6 months old, she is 6 years now and we will definatly use it for another 4 years. We as adults use it sometime, that's how sturdy it is! It is VERY EASY to put together (I read the other comment and I was wondering if this person had never put furniture together) The tray table is nice, we used it when the kids were very little and now we took it off. You can get a cushion for it so the little ones sit in there better. The company is great and their service is even better! I just cannot say anything about the blue color because ours is natural wood- light brown. And cleaning... I don't know what can be difficult to clean on this chair.... very easy! The cahir was recomendet to me and I did recomment it to so many friends (didn't have to say much because when they came to our house, they were thrilled without any words)

I really liked the idea of the product...

I ordered it months before my baby was born. Once she was here i took it out to build it... and it was in peices. babies r us was difficult to work with but i did eventually get another one.

AND the paint comes off... its difficult to clean... and today i realized that my baby's clothes had blue paint rubbed on them.

bad product...

I bought the chair because it had a nice look, was on sale, and it looked like it was good quality. The chair is very sturdy. However, my main complaint is that the blue paint rubs off no matter what I use to clean it, even a rag with only water turns blue. The tray is also difficult to slide on and off and its easy to pinch little fingers. We just keep the tray in place so we don't have to worry about hurting our girl.

I chose a wooden chair so that it would be easy to clean. I have enough laundry with 5 in the house I didn't want one more thing to wash. So far it serves it's purpose. My only major problem was that the tray had a chip in it. It was easy to super glue back on but it doesn't look as nice. We are strapped for space so I am pleased that the chair can grow with the child and we don't have to buy a new table chair.

We ordered this product b/c we wanted a transitional chair and liked how it looked. [...] we feel they are perhaps using cheap wood in the production. Very disappointed. Perhaps this is why this chair is discontinued.
