Perfect for invading ice worlds
By Darth Vader
Comments about LEGO Star Wars AT-AT (75054):
Can cover ice terrain with ease. However there is a potential design flaw - watch out for rebel speeders tangling the legs...
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Amazing Set, Terrible Concept
Let me clarify, the LEGO set and everything in it are perfect, but the design as an actual vehicle is seriously flawed. That's not to say the vehicle in itself isn't awesome, just the vehicle as a practicality. On to the set itself: first the figures, then the actual vehicle. The minifigures, all amazing. The new Snow Troopers are particularly amazing. The helmet and backpack are superior in every way, the chest and back prints are great, again totally improved, as for the arm and legs, the legs could use some knee printing, but that's really just a nitpick, the arms are fine. The kamas on the figures are all great, and do a lot to make the figure much more accurate. The AT-AT Driver is just as good, the new helmet and all new printing is much better than the old, and those are still amazing figures. General Veers gets a sand blue helmet. If that doesn't explain it, than let me clarify; he is so much better than the already stellar Veers figures released prior to this iteration. The AT-AT: the biggest LEGO set I've ever built. It is amazing in every way possible. the legs are perfect, the joints are exactly large enough, and get all the right angles for walking, and then some. The feet are just as good as the legs. They're wide enough that it has no problem standing, but not so wide that they collide in the middle. The interior has enough room for all the figures, and one extra Snow Trooper. The trap door in the center works, as long as you don't put a figure on the very edge of it. The troop bay side doors look great, and work even better. If they're opened even halfway, then the figures can get in and out. Initially, I was worried that the side panels would be constantly swinging from side to side, but they stay put perfectly well. The head droops a little, but there's no easy way to fix that and they do it in the movie, too. The head has enough room for two figures, but unless you made the whole basic shape of the head and neck one piece, that's unavoidable, and fine by me. The cannons are perfectly fine, although I do wish the cannons underneath the head were only one stud wide, and four spring-loaded missile launchers were included with five missiles (just personal preference, not a con). In conclusion, this set is perfect in every way.

About Me Parent Of Two Or More Children
I am a mom of two boys, 9 and 6 years old. Both of my boys enjoyed putting the AT-AT together, no help from adults. They collect lego Star Wars this toy was a nice addition to their collection. They both enjoy playing different scenarios which includes AT-AT. I would buy this toy again.

Most awesome LEGO EVER!!

With my grandson being a huge LEGO fan, his parents and I have had our eye on this AMAZING set for several months. Finally made the investment and it was worth every penny. It quickly became a family/joint effort and was so much fun! What a sense of accomplishment, especially for my grandson, to have completed a LEGO set with over 1100 pieces! Know this is one of the priciest LEGO sets out there, but absolutely worth the plunge! It is now a family collectors piece on a shelf of it's own. Looking at it makes us all smile!

About Me Collector
I am 46 and spent the afternoon putting the AT-AT together. My husband bought it for me. It is so realistic that completing it was my goal during the afternoon. It was worth building and I would build another Star Wars vehicle when I have the chance.

Our grandchildren love Legos and cannot get enough of them! We grandparents love them too so it is a great toy you can enjoy together. They are pricey BUT the engineering, thought, manufacturing process , and all that goes into them does not come free of charge!!!
My husband loved it!

I bought this for my 36 year old husband. He built it over the course of 2 evenings. Now that it is complete it is very sturdy and has been added to his man cave collection of Star Wars stuff. He really enjoyed it! And it looks great.
Must buy for any Lego fan!

I purchase Legos for at least two reasons: the challenge of the build and the impact of display. The AT-AT was a fun one to build, nearly as fun as the Millenium Falcon. It doesn't take a master builder more than a few hours to assemble and the directions were never confusing to follow. Displaying on the other hand is phenomenal. Not only are the legs poseable and sturdy enough for any position, but I enjoy that the various panels can be opened to display the skeletal struture of the walker. To push this to five stars it would have been nice to include Luke Skywalker in Snowspeeder gear and grapple to recreate that scene in Empire Strikes Back. Still, it was a great price for the number of pieces received, nearly as low as ten cents per piece.
LEGO Star Wars AT-AT (75054) by LEGO is really awesome!
