I picked this up for my godson. He is 4 1/2 and it is so nice. He always needs things to keep him interested and this will certaintly do the trick. Closed it looks like a HUGE spongebobface and then when you open it there is so much to do. Don't tell anyone but I wrapped it last so I could play it for a while before I gave it to him. The screen isn't color but its ok. The mouse is a crabby patty and there is a full keyboard. It is awesome!

My son wanted and received this gift for Christmas. He was so excited and enjoyed playing the different games and using the mouse. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the display screen. In each game, there as a perfect square that would block out a portion of the screen that you needed to see to complete the task, making the toy useless from a learning standpoint.

Our son received this for his 6th birthday. He is a fan of SpongeBob so he liked the voices and images. Our children have not been exposed to a lot of computer or video games, so the primitive animation doesn't bother him at all. There are some games that are above his level yet, but he will get to them when he is ready such as spelling and math. Good for long distance travel.

The laptop is useless. The screen is unreadable (very dark). The design was great. How about makeing the screen much, much lighter. At this point I don't know what's going on because the screen is so dark.

got this for my son for christmas and he loves the games it is a nice break from other video games that dont teach him anything i feel comfortable having him use this instead cause at least he is learning while playing! best part is he can take this anywhere and doesnt need to be on the sofa to play it!

I was surprised how fast they shipped my order. I was also very pleased of the condition of all the items. The Sponge Bob Laptop is for my step-grandson and he loves video games and sponge Bob, so I thought this would be perfect, yet educational too. I tested it out...it is soo cute.

I bought this item for a 3 year old male. He received lots of birthday presents but favored this one the most. Spongebob was the first & only thing he played with after getting home from his birthday-in-the-park....after 3 weeks, he still 'loves it the best'.
Yes, he is younger than the recommended age. Perhaps he's a gifted child?
