I have the older version of this swing and I couldnt have asked for anything better! My son loved this swing and spent a lot of time sleeping in it due to being colicy and having acid reflux. He loved moving side to side and the nature sounds along with the butterflies and bees moving around. I loved that it has the option to swing side to side or back and forth and I believe I we used the side to side option most of the time. It was extremely easy to put together and very sturdy. If you want to get a swing get one of the fisher price papasan ones there really is nothing better!

We bought this swing before our daughter was born and she's loved it from day 1..we have to! I don't have any complaints except the battery life isn't the best..ok, but not the best. However we found out real fast to get rechargeable batteries and then you never have to worry about a crying baby! (it takes 4 D's which can be pricey!)She's almost 8 months and still rocks away..sitting up swinging, but hey, she's strapped in and doesn't go anywhere! Hope this helps!!

We got this swing at a tremendous price [...]. It does make a clicking sound while swinging BUT our son loves the sound! It's basically like rhythmic white noise. Also, it's really not that loud or distracting to adults in the room.The songs and other noises that play are alright, but not great. You can adjust the volume which is wonderful. Our son loved this esp. during colicky days and he takes a lot of his naps in here if I don't want to put him in a separate room from me while he's sleeping.Our batteries lasted for 3.5 months before we changed them, and we used it at least 1-2 hours every day.

We use the sing Everyday. My daughter loves it, she wiggles right in to her comfy spot in it. It does not use alot of battery power I just changed the them after another 8 weeks. She has reflux, and this swing quiets her right down. I would recomend it to anyone it does not get any better then this swing. The legs sing in for eady to move or store. She loves the mirror on it she stares at her self smiling and laughing.

First I want to say we love the swing but it does have a few things I would change. Im not sure if anyone else's mobile does this but it gets stuck on the bar after a few minutes. I have to keep coming back and moving the one little animal. Also I should have thought about the battery life. Its not that big a deal but it would have been easier to just plug it in instead of changing the batteries. Other then that the swing is great!!! My son loves to watch the mobile and falls asleep within minutes. Its pretty quiet and mine doesnt lift off the ground unless you dont have the legs in the right position.

I purchased this swing at a yard sale when I was pregnant with my second child. It was in good shape for being used, and I couldn't afford to buy it new so I was pleased. My daughter was a small baby (5 Lbs.) and it did swing too fast, but I found if I draped a small blanket on the back bar of the swing it slowed it down until she was bigger. The problems I did find was that it did tilt to the side as my daughter got bigger and if she leaned to one side she would kind of hang out and the mobile did make a clicking sound, but again I bought it used.It does take up a lot of space, but I didn't mind that. I plan to buy a new cradle swing for my 3rd child I am expecting, but overall, this swing was good.

received this swing as a gift for my first child and used it everyday and four years later, pulled it out for my second and she loves it just as much. i have counted on this swing many times and never have i been disappointed.

LOVE this swing. We purchased it in 2007 when our first child was born and are now using it for baby #2. Both of my kids were diagnosed with reflux and this swing was a lifesaver. I love the way they sit in the cradle design - I can't believe anyone would buy another type of swing! This one is great for newborns and grow with baby as they get older. We used our swing for 6+ months with our first child and hope to do the same this time! And it doesn't use up batteries that badly - we use the swing multiple times a day (at least 3!) and we're changing the batteries for the first time after 7 weeks.

This swing is such a great product for our son. He loves the mobile and talking to himself in the mirror. He talks and plays until the music and mobile stop and then he quietly goes to sleep. I would suggest this to all parents!

I don't find that the swing eats batteries at all...in fact I hadn't changed them until he was 11 weeks old and we use it at least twice daily.
