This needs to be categorized better on this site and maybe not listed as "wings". I accidentaly ran across these but they did not pop up during my original search for neck support for car seats. I am sure GLAD I found these though! My son is 16 months old now and I've had this product for a couple of months. This thing is AWESOME and works perfectly!! I read other reviews about other supports that go behind the neck and they force their heads forward uncomfortably. Some don't even support babies' heads when they fall asleep and their poor little heads keep rolling around! I did a lot of research and found another brand (Snugzee) of neck support that was a big hit but way more expensive and just so happened to not be available for sale at that time. Then I discovered these that had the same concept, which were giant cushions on both sides of the head. When I put them on for the first time, my son HATED them but only for about 3 minutes! He tried to take them off and thankfully, they stayed put. Now..... even the very next day, when I put him in his car seat and before I can even finish strapping him in, he lays his head down on the cushions like they are soft pillows! They completely support his head from rolling around when he falls asleep in his seat. I admit they are big but that is why they work. So when he tries to look side to side, he struggles to move his head around but he does not even seem to care! They work exactly as they are supposed to in keeping his head in place and you can't beat this price! Go ahead and take those hard sharp corners! No problem!

Forget all other neck supports, full body supports, and strap covers! This is what you need. The rainbow neck support? Forget it! All that does is push your baby's head forward! This stops my son's head from falling foward when alseep in his carseat. It works great for infants all the way through older toddlers! A MUST HAVE ITEM!

My daughter was born with congenital torticolis, which is basically a tight muscle in the neck. At all times I had to try to prevent her from having her head cocked to one side, like you see so many babies in car seats. These neck wings did the trick, and if we have another baby, with torticolis or not, we will use these neck wings. Absolutely wonderful!

The ONLY thing that kept my son's head from falling forward in the car seat. I tried everything! So glad to finally have found something that actually works. Makes driving less stressful!

I ordered these for my son who is 8 months old right now. They are pretty big so I think they would be too big for a new born but I think they will work great for him now. Especially when he gets his new carseat it will help support his head and neck when he falls asleep in the car.

Worked great when my daughter was newborn until she had good head control. Don't use them now, but probably should b/c when she falls asleep in her car seat or stroller her head flops to one side.

The pillows are huge! My son is 7 months old, and the pillows went from his shoulders to the tops of his ears. He absolutely hated them, and they did nothing to keep his head from drooping to the side. Overall, the concept is good, but it may work better for an older/bigger child. I returned these and opted for something smaller.

My son was so uncomfortable in his car seat until we got these. It's hard to tell from the picture how they work, but they're very simple--like little flotation devices on his car seat belt. He's much happier, and they're cute.

My first child (who's now 3) never really drooped her head forward as much, so I never had to find anything to keep her head back in the carseat. My second child (who's now 9 days old) his head seems to bob every which way. Even with the double head support, he still kept going dropping his head basically into his stomach. I was determined to just buy a neck ring to support his neck more and found these instead. They are a tad bulky (they are bigger than his head at the moment) but since putting them on, his head has not drooped forward. Which is exactly the point of this product. I don't have to worry about him breaking his neck! Although he's a newborn and the items are bulky, they don't even come close to blocking his face so I don't have to worry about their size suffocating him. Overall, it does the job it's supposed to do. Size doesn't matter when you're protecting your child.

This item was exactly what I was looking for! For the first few weeks, I had to hold my son's head while riding in the car. Between my husband's heavy foot, traffic, lights, etc., my son't head keep going forward. I wanted something to help keep his head stationary and this was just the thing! They are a bit bulky, but they are wonderful to keep a newborn's head from jerking foward. Also, it also helps my son sleep on long trips. They are almost like a pillow for his car seat!
