We still use this in the carseat for my 4 month old. The smallest one we used for a few weeks when he was a newborn, but quickly moved up to the bigger one. It cradles his head just right. Unfortunately, we've never really been able to attach it to the carseat - but it still does it's job without being hooked in. And the other downfall is that my little one gets very warm (it's a thick cloth and doesn't breath well) when it's hot outside, like during this past summer. Should be good for winter though. Overall we're very happy with it!

These are awesome. I had a simple time installing them in my infant carrier and they did the trick (for months!) keeping my 21" baby with a 90th percentile head cozy, supported, and stable. I recommend them to everyone. The support that came with the Graco carrier just wasn't cutting it, and these were a perfect solution.

My son was not big at birth, but when we left the hospital, he was already too big for the double headrest. Soon after (within the first month), we ended up removing the outer headrest since it was becoming too small for my son. In addition, the headrests didn't seem to fit properly in the car seat carrier. I have the Chicco Cortina baby system, and I found that the already existent infant support cushion was sufficient.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

i thought it would be a great addition to my infants car seat.... you know for comfort..... but the directions on how to instal it was poor. i worry that in an accident that it will shift around because it isnt very sturdy.

Perfect purchase. We purchased when baby was 1 month old and is now 5 1/2 months and has used it since. I like it because it provides extra comfort for our baby on his chest and or if placed higher near his chin area than it's a soft feeling. The double sided use is a plus. One side is cooler and the other is warmer and softer. It also looks just as new everytime it gets washed.
