This is one of those items that I just HAD to have. Unfortunately, the way our cloth diapers recommend folding the diaper for a girl does not work with the snappi. I wish I hadn't taken them out of the package before she was born so I could take them back!

These are great! If you're considering cloth diapering then the snappis are a must have. So much easier than diaper pins and you don't have to worry about poking your wiggly baby. They go on quick and hold your prefold together nicely.

My Snappis work great for me on prefolds and even on thick-folded flats! Very simple and easy to use. Even my husband can secure a diaper with one in about 5 seconds. Everyone who sees me use one says what an improvement it is over using pins, but I've never tried pins myself. It's a rubbery Y shape with tiny rake-like claws that grip the fabric in opposition to secure it before you put the diaper cover on. Makes it possible to get a very size-adjustable stretch, which greatly helps prevent leaks. I did snag myself once, but there's a safety feature to prevent this. Doesn't work well on terry cloth diapers. Keep in mind you don't need a bunch - they don't get dirty with the diaper most of the time so you can reuse the same one for weeks. Of course even if it gets dirty you can just rinse it, so you really only need one. I recommend having a backup in case you lose one, and one to keep in the diaper bag. Also remember that no one really sees the snappi except you - it will be under the diaper cover and baby clothes - so color doesn't matter.

It's really difficult and out right painful using pins with a baby kicking and crying. I used my hand to protect baby, but I poked myself several times and my husband outright refused to use the cloth diapers for fear of the pins... these little things are really easy to use and poke free. :) Hubby is more than happy to help now with these new Snappies which is worth its weight in gold!

I didn't want to use pins and risk sticking my daughter when diapering her. This is a great product, it stretches great.

I love these things. They are so quick & easy. I know I'm not gonna poke my little man when he is squirming & any one else changing his diaper won't have to worry about pins. I would buy more but they just cost too much! When they only last 6months, I'll just save them for other people to use. Oh & I didn't get the color I wanted. Lower the price & I'll buy more...

This is a very useful product. Makes using prefolds simple. I have some OLD style snappis that have broken and even a new one (toddler size) that has broken - but that hasn't stopped me from wanting to use them... still beats pins![...]
