My daughter got this for her 9th birthday. She is a casual game player and enjoys it very much. There is agood deal of reading so make sure your child can read and follow instructions- or you will be playing with them. This is a challenging game for her but not so hard that she has gotten frustrated. Lots to do and places to go. Not sure about the whole WiFi internet connection stuff we haven't tried that. Also beaware of some teen content, boy friend talk and sarcasim. Nothing to bad.

I bought this game for my 8 year old daughter on 8/25/09 she beat it on 8/27/09...she absolutely loves it...she has deleted her saved game and has started completely over...It only has 5 levels and has a little bit of reading...would recommend for 1st graders and up
