Easy to open and close, makes cute sounds that aren't annoying, my son loves this. The only drawback is that the pictures of the animals on the inside are supposed to flip every time you open and close the phone, and mine got stuck in between two different animals and stayed that way. Doesn't detract from how the toy works at all.

I had gotten this phone hoping it would distract my little one from my phone. While she is too smart for that, she has enjoyed this phone none-the-less. She enjoys pushing the buttons to hear the typical phone tones and when you open and close it it says hello and goodbye, but she enjoys even more bringing it to me to answer for her. She LOVES seeing me do that and has requested it over and over again. While it gets old for me, it never gets old for her. My only issue is the fact that I think it flips open way to easy the more you use it.

This phone, although simple, has been the hit with both of my kids (10 months and 3) and all of their cousins and friends (6 months-6 years). Every time kids come over there is a fight over who gets to use the phone (we actually just bought a 2nd one so they can talk to each other). They LOVE to flip it open and shut to see the animal image on the "screen" change. Sure my kids still want my phone every chance they get but this one has been a great distraction and my 3 year old daughter talks to everyone she can think of on this phone...she has quite the imagination. Durable too, we have had this phone for about 2 years and it has really held up and we only just replaced the batteries a couple of months ago for the 1st time.

My daughter got this phone as a gift from Grandma when she was about 8 months old. We kept it in the baby bag and reserved it for her to play with when we went out to eat in family-friendly restaurants (it is a relatively quiet toy). What a LIFESAVER! She was always thrilled with it, and my husband and I were thrilled at how long it would hold her attention.

I guess babies can sniff out a fake because she won't look at this for more than a few seconds before trying to snatch my actual cell phone. I like the sounds and the design, though.

This cell phone is wonderful. my daughter is 11 months old, i got this for her a couple months ago. She still goes after my cell phone but she holds it up to ear and pretends to talk ..great distraction for them when there getting into things!! : )
