The Frog 'N Kick Mirror by Tiny Love is a baby-activated fishbowl of developmental fun for the car that keeps baby occupied and interested. Gives parents visual contact and peace of mind. (For rear-facing travel only). As baby looks at the Frog Kick & Mirror with the colorful smiling faces the various floating sea-creatures, the motion of the water and the glowing sparkles, she develops her sense of sight. When baby kicks at the kick-pad, she strengthens her leg muscles and her awareness of her feet. The Frog Kick & Mirror contributes to baby's understanding of cause & effect, the link between babys actions and the resulting reaction: when she kicks the kick-pad with her feet (cause), she causes interesting activity in the aquarium (effect). An action that begins quite randomly, gradually becomes intentional as she learns about her ability to make things happen. With practice she learns that there is a link between the force of her kick and the motion she creates, so that when she kicks harder, the movement is stronger, causing the creatures in the water to bounce about more, and vise versa. The motion of the car shakes the Frog Kick & Mirror and causes the water in the aquarium to move, and the sea creatures to gently "swim" about. This movement of the water and the sea creatures focuses babys vision, calming her and even making her sleepy.

I would not purchase this item. The mirror does not give visual contact of the baby. It gives a distorted view and can't even make out the babies face. The mirror does not even reflect an image. I purchased it for our first rode trip with twins and I unfortunately purchased 2.
I don't think it is worth buying.

This item worked well as a car mirror the whole time our baby was in a rear facing seat. Unfortunately there was no way it could be set up to be both reachable to the baby's feet and have the mirror directed at her.She seemed to be entertained by looking at it even if she couldn't kick it.Overall, cute but needs improvement to be completely functional for both purposes.

We drove from CT to Disney World with a 5 month old, and this toy was perfect for the very long ride. Now our daughter is 8 months and still enjoys kicking her fish around! It takes some time to adjust it just right so they can reach. I gave it four stars because of the mirror; not great quality and not necessary.

6 months old baby can't even reach it

I first bought a regular baby headrest mirror and it served its purpose, I was able to see my baby in the car. I got this as a gift and was excited to put it on. First of all, my baby is almost seven months old and he simply can't reach the frog when he's in the rear-facing car seat and the frog is attached to the back seat. Also, it's really hard to make sure the mirror points directly to him, and it keeps moving, so half the time I can't even see him. Therefore, this is not function as entertainment for baby, or as a mirror.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My baby loved kicking the toy to make the fish swim. I enjoyed being able to see the baby in the mirror. Unfortunately my baby kicked too hard and all the water leaked out. The toy only lasted two months.

The little fishes don't look like the picture posted they are made of a cheap, flat foam. Also my backseat of the car doesn't have headrests so I have no where to hang it from. The mirror is too high for the baby to see from (MY BABY IS 9 MONTHS OLD). Good idea for a toy but it doesn't work right. They also make one that does a light show.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
