It doesnt make alot of noise and thats great...it came with drum sticks as if it was a real drum, I liked that as well. Most of it made my daughter happy and that was a plus, I automatically felt like I picked out a great tpy....THANKS TOYS R US!!!!!

2 of the 4 pads didn't work. Changed out batteries, and still nothing. Very disappointing.

My younger daughter received this for Christmas from her grandparents. Initially we noticed the drum sounds were very quiet, overshadowed by the electronic sounds. After a few hours of off and on play, we noticed one of the drum pads stopped working altogether and shortly after a second stopped, as well. We are planning on returning it for something else.

Overall the drums are great! My three year old loves it! My only complaint is that the drum pads are alot smaller then I thought they would be and she has trouble hitting then every now and then! The pads are only two inches measured across from one side to the other of the circle.

My daughter loves Dora the Explorer and boots so I thought she would love this drum set. She played it when I first opened it but was only entertained for maybe the first day. Boots drum is malfunctioned after first day also. I'm alittle disappointed how poorly this product is made.

My 2 year old daughter Emma loves Dora the Explorer and recently started grabbing pencils and tapping on the table and showing interest in music. So I began looking for some drums for her. When I saw this on the site it was perfect. When I gave it to her, she was so excited. She said "oh mommy I love it!" She plays with it everday. Sounds great! Would have been over the top if it played some of Dora's tunes but she loves it anyway.

My 21 month old daughter loves this toy. It has a drum volume and a rhythm volume so you can hear both well or adjust them to be lower or louder. The rhythms are great and up tempo so she can dance and really think she is making music. The toy is very pretty also. We get her other toy instruments and play with her and have a great time. When she hits the drum it response well! The only disappointment is that it doesn't play any Dora Songs.
