What is Bakugan?

Bakugan Battle Brawlers is a Japanese action adventure anime television series that centers on the lives of creatures called Bakugan and the battle brawlers who possess them. Bakugan Brawlers are action figure warriors that are tucked into spheres and pop open when they re rolled onto a Gate card. Each player has a team of 3 Bakugan and each is trying to be the first to capture 3 Gate cards.

I finally broke down and bought this game for my five year old son today. He is really into Bakugan but I thought the game would be to hard. I was told by a member of [...] that there was a lot of reading and it would be to hard for him. Well they were wrong. I have not had to help him once on this game. Since we bought it this morning he has been playing non stop. It explains how to use the remote with pictures. Great deal today at Toy R US too, it was only [$]!

Our 8 and 5 yr old have the Bakugan balls that are in store and my husband and I don't play. However, this game is FUN for the WHOLE family- up to 4 players. I would recommend starting with the ARENA to get use to the wii remote and what can be done such as helping others getting onto the cards and getting extra points and G's with the other boards.
In the story board (main menu)you can make your own character (up to 4) and name- you are UNABLE to change the names and kind of bakugan you want to be for that character. At least we have not figured out how to.
The KIDS love this game and so do we as the PARENTS- Another family day added to our household!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
