Comments about Kids Preferred The World of Eric Carle The Very Hungry Caterpillar Cloth Book:

I's just a couple pages with one or two words per page. The art is from the Very Hungry Caterpillar but this is NOT a story book. My 6 month old likes to play with the crinkly pages but we will upgrade to the real book in hardcover format in a couple months.

My sister bought my son this book and he absolutely loves it. He is 6 months and teething so he loves to eat all the parts of it. He seems to really like the crinkle sound it makes.

Be creative with this infant book! You don't even need to know the original story to tell your own here. Flip through and engage your baby with your very own story of how the caterpillar became a butterfly. My son loves to grab the crinkle fabric and look at the bright vivid colors, I would highly recommend this book to all my friends.

Comments about Kids Preferred The World of Eric Carle The Very Hungry Caterpillar Cloth Book:

My daughter enjoys this version of the book. She's 5 months old, and can't quite keep a solid grip on board books yet, so this is a nice companion to the original. Other reviewers are right -- this isn't the "real thing." Instead, it has some key images and single words from the actual book ("sun" and "nice green leaf" for example). It's more like the "essence" of the original. We also have the board book, which I read to her and she grabs at, but she loves to play with THIS version independently. She seems to like the crinkly sounds, bright colors and the textures.

It is a beautiful, soft book that my 5 month old loves to grab and hold, but there are only a few words in it. If you want to tell a story, you need to have the original book in addition to this. Very cute, but only engaging for a short time.

This is a great book! The colors are amazing and our 7 month old loves the crinkle sounds and the strawberry teeth that is attached. I am sure he will eventually love looking at himself in the mirror and pulling up the flap on each page to see what is hiding underneath!
