This is my first Britax car seat. I am so glad I bought it. This is for the youngest of my 4 kids, so I have been though many car seats. This is my favorite. I love the latch on the bottom seat to help keep them in if we wreck. The booster seat reclines with my car seat- making for a perfect fit. It is very comfortable, my child can still sleep in the car with this one.

Let me begin by stressing that we really have taken a liking to the Britax brand, as owners of 2 Marathon car seats from 2005.

This seat really does have alot of benefits, and please note that as of this week, our first week with the seat, our son is 47 inches tall and 57 lbs, with the seat still being on the lowest setting- translation, the seat allows for a good amount of growth.

Appearance- It's a booster seat, but the material on the seat and back is of a nylon type which lends itself to easy cleaning. Armrests and remaining trim are in faux velour.

Weight- I believe that it's under 6 lbs and very easy to move around.

Ease of Use- Once you get through the initial setup phase, which takes all of 10 minutes (attaching the seat back to the seat bottom, adjusting slide protection strap), you're good to go.

Safety- You'll feel very secure placing your little one in this seat. For one thing, it provides true side impact protection for the head. On top of that, the belt guides really do serve to keep everything lined up properly and the best part of all is the "anti-swim" belt clip which attaches to the middle of the lap belt- what this does is twofold, keeps the belt off of the child's abdomen and instead onto their upper thighs, so that in the event of a crash the belt doesn't ride into the internal organs, and just as importantly, in the event of a crash it prevents the child from "swimming" or falling under the lap belt. This is as close as you can get to a 5 point harness without having a 5 point harness, it's 4 point in its application and from what I can see, rather unique.

I would recommend this seat without hesitation, as I have with Britax products we've used in the past. Just make sure that your child meets the minimum standard for the seat and you've got plenty of room to grow.

This is a great car seat! I feel like my son is very safe. I went to great depths to research this booster seat and others and I felt this was the best pick. The only question I had with this seat was I couldn't find out whether or not it would recline. I decided to purchase this seat anyway because of all of the safety features. But, for the record this seat DOES recline.

Got the Britax Parkway because of it's safety rating from previous years by Consumer Reports. Also own the Roundabout and the cover was easy to clean and our kids comment how soft the fabric is. Our daughter is still working on bucking up by herself. She says the seat if very comfortable.

We love it! It is a little more expensive than others out there but we are very, very pleased with our purchase. We looked at every seat in stock at Toys R' Us after order/receiving this one online since I was a hung up on the price but what I loved about this one is the overall sturdiness of the seat and also the Slide guard that prevents kids from slipping out from under the seat belt- Great thinking, Britax! The only small thing that I wasn't wild about but was easily fixable was how straight up it sat. We reclined the seat slightly, problem solved. I love looks and safety of this seat! Would I recommend this seat? Absolutely, spend the extra money on the Britax!
