My daughter Kylie got this Netbook for Christmas. She loves it! She had been using my laptop prior to this to play games on the internet. The Disney Netbook has been much better for this. It is easier for her to navigate, and I feel better knowing I chose what she can and cannot access. The small harddrive is not an issue because she doesn't have large programs and document to save.

i saw this lap top for my daughter Cheyanne and she freaked out about it. it was a cheap computer and easy and learning for her age. at the time she was 4 and loved it so she would not go to my white mininetbook and surf the web anymore....EURREKA!!! well 2 weeks later i saw her grow in being so intelligent in preschool and follow right along with her computer. ,it is not advanced for her either so she can learn and have fun i would reccomend this laptop to any mom in need with any single learning preschooler i luv it

I have gotten a pink and blue netpal for my daughters christmas gifts. I have been waiting for YEARS for a real PC of this kind to arrive on tha market. The toy ones (Vtech, etc.) are simply overglorified hand helds with tiny screens and no real PC technology or capabilities.

Disney has applied their name to the Asus EEEPC, and you will pay more for it, but you will get more than just an EEEPC. The netpals are preloaded with software for picture taking & editing, movie maker, browser, music mix capabilites, personalized desktop templates and icons, windows, word and office! Your child, aged 6-12, will have a real computer that fits their smaller hands, laps and minds. They can surf safely at times and places you designate. This is a very repsonsible investment for a first real computer. Some wuold say without a DVD drive, it's not a game playing machine-but most children this age play online games like Club Penquin, Webkinz, Gaggle anyhow. If you have CD games, simply transfer them ont a USB port, and wahlah, you have your games, your songs, even your pictures. There is a direct link to Disney home pages, shopping for music, videos and Disney Channel TV shows and Movies all at their fingertips (and a new way to distribute an allowance!!)The kids will LOVE this! I will personally love having my home PC back....

I have taken them out and set them up in minutes, installed my administrative passwords and theres, selected favorite web sites and designed desktops so that as soon as they turn them on, wahlah, a personalized laptop (netbook) all their own-magical as Santa, and Disney!
