        Bought this for my 7 yr old she really liked for the first 4 months then started to have problems with it. The screen didn't work, couldn't adjust the volume & would only play two of the songs. Contacted customer support & they didn't help out at all, told me to reset it & update the firmware. Tried that but couldn't get the firmware to work so called support line again but didn't get much help. They didn't put forth an effort like they cared. The unit is going in the garbage and going to buy a different brand. Don't waist your time or money on buying one.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          better than people think. great for basic use. video quality is good enough to keep young children entertained. once loaded was easy enough for my daughter to use when she was 4.

          using it at work in 0 degree temps it lasted almost a year before the screen went out. still usable. does tend to freeze. reset button is on the side where the slot is for the mini sd card. had a few problems loading vids on it with windows media player 10 like it suggested. used wmp 9 and had no more problems with that part.

          conversion software that comes with it is good to use with other players except sony and ipod. is time consuming so save any thing you convert and might want to put on another player. before converting dvd's use dvd fab or another dvd burning software to save the file to your pc first. then use the media coder that comes with this.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

              bought this product for my 9 yr old daughter for Christmas, seemed like a nice MP3 player. She wanted a video screen like the ipod I was happy to find this at toys r us. After downloading music on it I was playing songs and checking the player out and it froze up on me and wouldn't even shut off. Opted to take it back instead of trying another.
