In his evil plot to take over the Mushroom Kingdom, Fawful tricks Bowser into eating a magic mushroom. The mushroom causes Bowser to begin inhaling everything around him, including Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach! Do the Mario Bros. have the guts to rescue Peach and escape?

Features

• Players are in control of two separate storylines. One features Bowser and his efforts to stop an arch-villain. Meanwhile, inside Bowser, the microbe-sized Mario & Luigi must muscle their way through challenges.
• Players can switch between storylines at will. What happens inside Bowser affects what he's doing on the outside. Sometimes Mario & Luigi must solve puzzles and challenges behind the scenes.
• Players must make well-timed button presses to enhance their performance during battles and challenges. In some battles, Bowser grows so large that players must turn their Nintendo DS or Nintendo DSi system
• The game features the same hilarious dialogue that has been the hallmark of the Mario & Luigi series.

Despite being yet another Mario game, it is the most original I have played in a long time. It utilizes the DS very well (touchscreen, dual screens, even the mic!). Although most of the game is controlled using the buttons, the stylus and mic come into play during special attack moves.

My favorite thing about the game is how when you fall down a hole, you land in goo, sink, and reappear out a tunnel at the top. No more dying falling down holes! You sustain damage during a turnbased type combat system.

My son likes the game. He's almost 5 and doesn't know how to read yet. There's alot of reading in this game so I have to take time out to read to him what the characters r sayn. Its a fun game though. He likes playing browser and luigi and mario. Its alittle confusing at 1st, but ull get the hang of what you hv to do.

every time i look at my DS i think when am i going to be able to play mario and luigi bowsers inside story every where you turn there is awesomeness. its clever funny and wow. and the idea of a new evil dude is....!!!!!! WARNING this game is extremely addicting. and dark bowser and stuff... when you play this game your in a bubble of coolness

I got this game for my 7 year old nephew for Christmas. He is a really good gamer and this game was just horrible. It was boring and it required a lot of reading beyond a 7 year olds level. I read reviews on here saying peoples 5 year olds loved the game. I dont understand how they could. I would have rather invested my $35 in Mario Brothers, which by the way is a great game. It is similar to the Wii version but still different enough to enjoy playing.
