My son LOVES golf. His plastic set from [@] was getting a little short and flimsy for him, and when I saw these, I thought they would be perfect. They are just a little taller and I figured the metal shaft would be more durable. One week later, they are all broken. He was so upset. Useless! Don't waste your money.

Got this at ToysRUs store here, for my neighbor's bday. He spends hours playing with a toy golf set that my kids have, so when I saw this I thought it would be the perfect gift. It LOOKS great, he was VERY excited, and began playing with it immediately. So, here just one day later, with three boys (ages 6,7,8) playing with it--normally, not overly rough--two of the clubs are broken already...on one the grip came off, and on the other the club head flew off. Very disappointing for the birthday boy!! Poor quality and I feel like I wasted my money!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
