    Our grand-daughter wanted this item, and since it was not available in the store, we ordered it on
    line. The employee in the store was extremely helpful in trying to locate and name the item which we had a sample of. She anxiously waited its arrival, and she has enjoyed playing with it....sorting the beads by color, making and remaking designs. Thank you.

    We LOVE Perler Beads! My son who is now 6 (and is quite creative) has been making them since he was three. Now we take our pegboards and have branched off into making our own designs. Though we still use some of the patterns it has been much more fun to make own own designs such as dino scenes, and mosiac style patters, etc... My current three year old gets frustrated with them because they are not easy for little fingers to use, but she is learning. I think I like them more than the kids do! :) Word of advice, if you use this with young ones, give them beads in a small cup or else they end up all over the floor and are a chore to clean up! Replacement beads are also easy to find online.
