My baby was born with 7 lb 6oz, which is the average for a new born. Now he is 1.5 months old and the bassinet is too small, baby is unconfortable even if he is not big, he has to sleep with arms up or down, he is not relax at all.I am packing this thing right now. Another issue is that for the bedding you need to go directly with the manufacturer, nobody sells anything for it, the sheets you can buy somewhere else are too big for it.

It is a very nice bassinet and appears very sturdy. Our newborn will be home in approx 4 wks, so we have yet to use it. [...] it took us 1 1/2 hours to assemble as we found ourselves re-reading the directions to make sure we were assembling it correctly (at times the directions were not clear enough). Also, only 2 of the wheels lock, not all four like the description states, so we decided not attach the wheels. Yet, when it comes down to it, we do like the bassinet.

I have just finished assembling this bassinet and it looks great. It is sturdy, the locking mechanism is working fine, and it is easy to move from our bedroom to the living room rolling over carpets. It really doesn't take much space. It took me about 40min to assemble. The color in the picture is a little off, ours is cherry, but it still goes well with rest of the room.

The bassinet is the perfect fit for a small area. The style is chic. It looks like a mini crib instead of a bassinet.

I am very happy with this bassinet. It looks nice in our living room. We don't use the rocking feature very much, but it's a nice option to have. I like the storage option at the bottom as well.

Just before our baby was born we brought a crib and this bassinet. Our baby did'nt sleep a single night in the crib but he loved this bassinet. We kept the bassinet close to our bed so my wife would keep rocking him back to sleep if he woke up during the night. It was also very easy to assemble and light weight.

i was able to put this together with my female roommate and we got it done in about roughly 20-25min it does take to people to do it and if you do it right it will become sturdy, i love how it can be washed to its going to be perfect when we bring our daughter home i didnt even need dads help the instruction manual is a bit wierd but if you look at the pics you will get it i wish they would give you all four wheels to be able to lock but the two are fine as long as you have them diagonaly across from each other...the locking mechanism is perfect for when you dont want it to rock i dont see why others have complained about it its only supposed to move like a cm or two and thats what it does but its not bad because if you think about it thats the norm for all rocking devices over all im glad we got this bassinet its perfect for our little one and for years to come...love how i can store babys needs on bottom also....also we didnt even tighten all the screws and what not and its still super sturdy im letting dad do that before baby comes this is the most sturdiest bassinet i've seen so far

FYI...I ordered this based on the two previous reviews. I guess they must have gotten a different model. This bassinet does NOT have a night light nor any vibration features. I am disappointed because I specifically chose this bassinet thinking it would vibrate. I guess that Babies R Us does not check their product reviews. Our baby is not here yet, so I can't comment on other aspects of the bassinet. It does look very nice and seems sturdy. The mattress is a little flimsy, but I think it should work ok. The instructions are not the best, but we were still able to put together fairly easily. I gave this bassinet 4 stars because I can't blame the product for my disappointment. But it was definitely not the vibrating bassinet I was expecting. I've decided to keep the bassinet because I got it at the[$]sale price and I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning it. If I had to do it again, I would probably have gotten the Bertini Wood Bassinet.
