Quality seems outstanding, especially for the price which I think is very reasonable compared to many other Dutailier Gliders. A classic and very basic style that seems as though it could suit many different needs. I was looking for these specifics when searching for a Glider and find that this purchase, met all of my needs.

We purchased this glider/recliner and matching ottoman a few weeks back after seeing it on clearance at BRU. We like it. It is very quiet, very smooth gliding AND it reclines....something that's very hard to find without totally breaking the bank. My husband, 6' tall and 200 lbs fits very comfortably. My only complaint is that the reclining feature on the one we purchased isn't as smooth as the one I sat on in the store. Not sure if it's defective or just stiff from being new. Either way, it's not that big of a deal considering the "deal" we purchased it for being on clearance and all : )

Note.....a few weeks after purchasing this item, it was advertised for an additional 20% off the clearance price and BRU gave us a price adjustment! Now that's customer service!!

We love this glider and we also purchased the matching ottoman. It is so comfortable that my mother also purchased one for herself!

It has been almost six months since I got it. I spend most of my time sitting in this glider, since I do the breatfeeding sessions there. For the first two months I was quite pleased with this product, but as time went by, I developed lower back pain due to the lack of lumbar support. Also, the bottom cushion has worn out and has a dent right where I sit (and I'm not a heavy person). Lastly, the chair frame is wide so the armrests are too spread for me.

i bought mine 4 years ago when i was expecting my first son. i assembled it myself when i was 8 months pregnant. very easy assembly, just a little heavy to carry up the stairs by myself! i bought 2 other brands with my twin boys so i could have a glider in each bedroom. don't spend your money on any thing else. the dutailier is the best of all 3 i currently own! this one is nice because is reclines. i highly recommend the stool with the pull out foot rest - it makes nursing so much easier & much more comfortable. i'm expecting my 4th boy in jan and am going to buy another one for his room! it is very sturdy, fabric & cushions have held up fabulously, is roomy enough for my husband (6'4" and 240 lbs), and is so quiet - i don't wake up the babies when i stand up. this has been HEAVILY used and doesn't show any signs of wear. i discovered that a crib sheet will fit perfectly over the back & seat cushions to protect them from spit-up - crib sheets are much easier to wash!

This chair is so comfortable and functional. It reclines, which is fantastic. Most of the other ones I looked at would glide back and lock into position, this one actually RECLINES. The nursing bench under the ottoman is great. I don't love the fabric. It has the knap of microfiber but it has the lined texture of courduroy. The seat cushion is A LOT more firm than any of the others I sat in at the store, I'm hoping it breaks down some over time and gets softer. I got it on sale and saved a ton of money so it was totally worth the price.

We had looked at quite a few gliders before settling on this one.Very comfortable and well made.I wish that we had been able to find something comparable for a cheaper price (glider & ottoman both are [$]).Unfortunately,there is a big difference in qualtiy between the cheaper and pricier models.I'm giving this chair 4 stars because I have only had it for a week & although it's a great chair I still don't know how I feel about paying[$] for a glider.At any rate, we love the chair& find it hard to get out of because it's just SO comfortable!

Haven't used the glider with the baby yet as I still have 5 weeks to go, but so far, we're really happy with it. It only took a couple of days for it to come in after we ordered it, and it's great. I wish that we'd had the option of choosing different colors, but you can't beat the price. Looks great in the nursery.
