I liked this lock because of the different options for locking hard to fit items. However, after about a month of use the one plastic portion completely broke off. The plastic 'lines' are also a little hard to get in and out.

I needed something to keep a bad 3-yr old kid, family member, out of the refrigerator and had the idea to buy THIS item due to the bad comments on the refrigerator latches. IT WORKS GREAT FOR THE REFRIGERATOR!! She has not figured out how to open it. Very easy to use for me I just push the button and open the door it undoes itself. I'm glad this keeps that kid out of the fridge I no longer have mustard smeared all inside the fridge, broken eggs, spilled juices, etc.

I purchased two of these handles. Both of them lasted less than 3 months. If it does not fit between the knobs/handles, it hangs below and the tension snaps the plastic in half which is what happened to me. Piece of junk!

This lock has made it through 3 years with my daughter and so far a year with my son. I also purchased the Safety 1st Push n Snap locks for my bathroom cabinets, as I could not find these at the time. My son pulled on the straps of the locks and the locks came disconnected and voila, the cabinets were open. Do not get the Push n Snap locks if you have kids who are curious. This Secure Closed Handle Lock is by far the best at frustrating and deterring your kids from ever attempting to open the cabinet. They simply can't open the cabinet with this lock on. Agreed, this lock is not the easiest for an adult to unlock on a cabinet that is frequently accessed, but the point of the lock is to keep your kids safe and out of harmful items that are in the cabinets. For that alone, this is top notch.

It is very safe and secure, but not real easy to take off. I mean you need two hands. There are other ones out there that are still hard for kids to get off but easier for adults.

this is a great product, especially for french doors.
works great, VERY easy to use.
this is the only lock that we have found that will fit & work on the french door "lever handles".

This product works great for us b/c either my 2 year old has managed to figure out all the other types of cabinet locks, or others do not fit our cabinets. We use it on our kitchen cabinets, which have skinny handles on them that are too far apart for a sliding lock. Works fabulously for cabinets like that. You have to push the button up to unlocks the tie, and hold it there while you pull the tie out. Great for crawlers too b/c it takes coordination and a level of hand strength.

This thing is frustrating. Do you hold the button on the top, middle or down position while you push through the plastic strips? OOps, if you just turned it backward, you may be doing it wrong. My face turned red as my bp went up while pulling without humor
as this could be very simple but it just wasn't for me. Get the good one- safety first secure tech cabinet lock. Same price. Easy and quick to take on and off.

This particular lock took me 15 minutes to get it open just so I could try it on my cabinets then when I finally got it opened, it didn't fit very well. My cabinets have knobs that are fairly close together. Once I finally got it on the cabinet, it worked fine for what I need it for, just an initial pain in the neck.

I have tried multiple safety locks and while I use another kind for most of my cabinets, I also have to use this one too. This one is convienant because it adjusts to wide cabinet handles. It's a little difficult for adults to use, but when you have a cabinet where the handles are far apart this one is the only one I've found that fits.
