Even though it was a VERY tight fit this was the only cover that would work with our Motorola video monitor plugs. It was the third one we tried. My son can pull the regular plug covers out of the outlets, but does not seem interested in pulling this off. Maybe that's because it doesn't look like an outlet. I'm not sure. I'm just glad it works with the monitor plug.

This is an EXCELLENT product. I used this same item about 10 years ago for my first child and am using them again for my second. There have been no changes to the item in all these years...why fix/change something that already works perfectly.

We have several of these. My 15-month-old son rarely shows interest in the outlets themselves, but if he sees something plugged in, he tries to unplug it. He seems to ignore these for the most part. The only downside is that we have a couple outlets with trim nearby that interferes, so we have to use other types of covers. As long as you have a little wall space around the outlet (about 2 inches all around), these are a great choice.

This product worked great with my fist son who now is 3. However, my 17 month old can take it off.

I was worried because I have a large cable that is for a surge protector for our television. This unit worked great for large cables and was extremely easy to install and our little one cant mess with the cable anymore.

This item is perfect for outlets with the single screw in the center! We are using three over plugs that are thick for surge protectors. I fit one in an outlet 1/2 inch from a window sill. They are working wonderfully for us and my sons have not figured them out yet and my boys have made useless many items we have bought so far for other child proofing needs).

when we bought these she was 14 months and she figured it out within 15 mins... WASTE OF MONEY!!!! She thinks of it more as a toy than anything.. I bought 5 of them and I regret it..

This is a wonderful product that is a must have for any household with small children. It allows for use of the outlet while keepin plug ins securly covered. Very secure and easy to install.

It seems like a great product, but I didn't realize that it only works on the old style AC outlets until after I got two. So, if you have the single screw in the middle plugs, your fine. Most new homes have the 2 crew type, and this won't work. Wish they'd make a modern version.

It's perfect and really stops my 20 month old Daughter from pulling out the plugs from the outlet. She was driving me nuts unplugging her video monitor and lamp.
