I gave this to my 12 year old grandaughter, who has a desire to become a forensic anthropologist some day. She named the sculpture "HIM" and reconstructed it over and over. She asked for another one for this Christmas.

My two sons ages 5 + 7 spent hours working on this. They had so much fun building the eyes and mouth and became very creative when making hair styles. The clay doesn't dry up right away, so a few days went by and they were still remolding and moving body parts around. I would highly recommend this to any child that likes anatomy and playing with clay.

My kids have done about 4 of these. They started when they were about 9 years old and are still looking for more to do. If your children like CSI or forensics, sculpting/art, or working with their hands, they should enjoy this. They also learned a great deal about bones, facial structure, and how csi's can use bones to determine what a person looked like.
