WONDERFUL for my toddler! She was amazed how her coloring only showed up on this paper! Easy to pack up for on the go!

The only problem I have is you can't find the sticky paper to fit it. From what I can tell, no refills are made.

We bought these for our girls to use in the in the car. We take the little cloth handle and snap it right inside their car seat buckle so that it stays on their laps. We also prefer using tape (and carry a roll with us) for any coloring pages instead of the sticky paper that comes with it. Since our girls have cup holders in their car seats, they usually put the markers or crayons in there. We got these on sale and so it was worth it for us to improvise. Other lap desks that I've found were double what we paid.

i bought this for my 2 year old son, he just turned 2 in dec, and we love it...wish there was more paper or at least some way of getting more but so far i like it and as for the paper issue i bought car book one and i just sit it ontop of the lap thing it works fine and i only give my son 2 markers at a time...we are gonna travel across country soon and it's easier that was but so far we love it and for 15 can't say to many bad things :)

Loved this for travel until we (very quickly) ran out of the 10 sheets of post-it type paper provided. Now I've found it impossible to find replacement post-it paper. I'm astonished that Crayola hasn't made refills available. The product is now useless.

The markers roll off the side, the paper does not stick to the top and there isn't a lot of room to set paper, snacks.
There is a nice pocket with a zipper to hold the markers when not using it. When the children are trying to use it, though, the markers are rolling everywhere and the paper is coming off. I was hoping this would keep them entertained in the car and it ended up making things harder. I am going to look for something that they can put on their lap and where the sides go up higher.

Love this! The lap desk is just full enough to sit on anyone's legs (Including mine!)! You can stash a bunch of markers in the zippered storage area, though it would be nice if the zippered area was just a tad bit wider so you could put the paper in and pull it out with a little more ease. Other than that, this lap desk rocks! I love the fact that you can bring it with you on ANY trip - even to the grocery store, and have a bit of quiet while the kids color and scribble away. The fact that the paper is like a 8.5 x 11" sticky note is awesome! No more crying because the paper slid from little hands! I love this desk and I will get one for my 10 year old as well because both of them can amuse themselves with this awesome product!
