I received this as a hand-me-down and our daughter loves it. She is our sixth child so our home is generally on the loud side so the noise it makes if perfectly fine and makes a great cover for anything that may wake her. If she is in her crib and I go into our room she wakes up instantly, but as long as this is running she stays sleeping:) I recommend this to anyone looking for a musical crib toy. However I wouldn't recommend you allow your child to play with it with an ipod connected.

I got this as a gift and my son loved it. I never attached it to a crib though. I just sit it up next to him when he would lay down. When he got old enough he would sit up and hold it or just look at it. I must have had the older version because the music was so low you can hardly hear it :)We took that thing everywhere. Even camping. It's great cause it can be battery operated and you can take it anywhere. Yes it is a little heavy and bulky so it wont fit in your baby bag or anything but otherwise it's an ok product in my opinion. But my son who is now 2 1/2 still enjoys it sometimes. Probably reminds him of when he was little or something lol.

Like that you can plug your mp3, But it supposed to come with 2 songs, only one function, and when you start the visuals has a high sound when is running. Good advertising for bad in reality

The IPod feature doesn't work, it doesn't fit my child's crib, and the music is too loud.

My 6 month old wasn't at all interested in this product. I wasn't either, very dissapointing. The screen scrolls through a few different images, and only a few different images, the background noise is very loud, the music is loud and there is no volume control. Will bring this back.

We received this as a gift for my son's birth. It looked really cool and I was excited to use it - however, it was difficult trying to get it to fit onto his crib, and didn't seem very sturdy once it was in place. I definitely wouldn't leave it there if I wasn't around to supervise. The battery pack on the back wouldn't hold tight and could be pulled off (the batteries are under two screws, so that's not a problem, but the pack itself can come off easily).

When my son was a little older (like at least 6 months) he began to enjoy watching the screen turn and hear the music. I liked it b/c he could bang on the screen and he couldn't break it.

I also liked that you can hook it up to an ipod (or mp3 player?) and play your own music, although the hum of the motor was a little loud. Also, I wouldn't recommend hooking up your ipod/mp3 player for a curious baby. My son quickly learned how to pull the ipod out of its spot.

Another nice thing is that it would occupy him for a little while so I could do something else... just not for too long.

The batteries died about 5 months ago and I just haven't bothered to put new ones in (he's 16 months now and has SO many other toys). Maybe I'll dig it out and see how he responds again :)

I bought this because i though it was a good price. It's not horrible. It's alright. But the screen does seem to get stuck sometimes while its rotating and its very loud. I havent tried the MP3 feature yet. My son is 4 months old and enjoys it. I would not recomment it to anyone though. Spend a little extra money and get a nice one.

I purchased this product from another store and was so excited to use it only to get home and the rotating mechanism broke within minutes and the screen did not roll as it was supposed to. I don't have time to return products over and over again so if something doesn't work right the first time, im done! If however you dont mind returning until you get a quality product, get this crib toy. I really liked the idea of this product and wish it could have worked out for us.
