would only work if you were 6ft or less near it, who wants a RC car that you have to walk behind it to get it to work

I use RC cars a lot, and this one was pretty nice for the money, because I didn't want to get a $400 RC car right away.

I have had two of these, one that I used a lot and the motor wore out (expected), and now this one. I like the truck and how it looks. New Bright says not to drive it in any water or anything like that, but as long as you don't let any of it hit the electronics, it's fine. I have been driving it in snow a lot.

Overall, it's a nice, fast, and cheap for what you get RC car. The only bad thing is that the motor WILL wear out eventually and it doesn't turn that far at all.

Also, it says that there's a "gear shifter control" that you can use, but when I saw that I knew that there wasn't, and, yes, there isn't, but that would be really cool if there were more than one gear!!

took it to a skatepark and it was cool.it is able to drive in gravel.drifts awesomely on hardwood floors.

This is a fast truck and my son loved it. Battery life is short so buy extra for longer use at one time. It goes through grass, over rocks, over ramps nicely. I would buy it again. The only draw back it is made flimsy. The body has been cracked with all the usage. I would recommend buying the warranty to replace truck. We did and will be replacing it with another new one, because the truck won't turn left. My son was tough on it.

Somehow I clicked on the "no batteries" check box in my other review, but the batteries did come, and the controller to turn right stopped working, not the car itself. Also, after I wrote the review, I fiddled with it and it worked again!! Now it's hard to turn right, but it still works.

This car is horrible!! Save the [$]0 (way overpriced) and get something better. I used this product for 40 minutes, then it stopped working completely!! JUNK!!! DO NOT BUY AT ALL!!
