Bought this for my 3.5 year old and 18 month old daughters, it was fairly simple to assemble. I absolutely love the look of it,I love the "hardwood floors"
It also arrived sooner than I anticipated. My kids have been playing with it non stop.
The ONLY thing I would change is the lack of storage for all the accessories that came with it.

After searching and searching for the perfect kitchen i decided on this one. My daughter has had it for over a year. Shes 3 and loves it.very sturdy she climbs all over it and its never broke and Everything still works overall very happy with this product.

When my son was 2 we bought him a Step2 kitchen. He loved it. So when we had our daugher 9 years later we decided we would get her a kitchen as well. This was her Christmas gift & she was 17 months when we gifted it to her. She loves this kitchen its well worth the money. Even big brother who is 11 plays in it with her. So easy to put together, easy to wipe down, comes with so many pretend food items. I know this will be in our home for years to come. You will not regret buying this kitchen for your child boy or girl. My daugher spends a large amount of time daily playing in her kitchen.

We bought this kitchen for Christmas, for our then-14mo daughter. She loved it then, and 8 months later, this kitchen still gets daily play. In fact, we've moved it out of her room and found a place for it in the living room.

Even her 5 and 6y.o. cousins play with it. It's large enough to provide an almost play-house environment that fosters imagination immersion - I wish they had cool stuff like this when I was a kid!

It's been amazing watching our little girl emulate us - and we've had our share of fried-egg soup with bananas and eggplant. She's quite the little chef!

The plastic food accessories are all you'll need (to get started or otherwise). We keep a basket nearby to collect and hold all the pieces that eventually get strewn across the floor.

Still - it did not come with the pictured stool and, I felt, it should have for the price.

We bought this kitchen for our oldest daughter when she was 2 years old and she continues to play with it 3 years later!!! Her little sister loves it as well! All of her friends love to play in her kitchen when they come over and it always keeps them entertained. Fantastic product...very sturdy and worth the money!!!

I bought this item for christmas last year for my girls at the time almost 1 and almost 2 years old. Now at 2 and 3 years old they play with it almost on a daily bases and when every we have playdates it is the toy the children are always drawn to it! We supplemented the food with more food other than that it has what they need for hours and hours of play!

Got this kitchen for my little girl before she turned 3. We actually did not buy it from toys r us but from Step 2, so not sure if the pieces are all the same. This kitchen is great, about 1 hour to assemble and put a few stickers on. Comes with alot of extra pieces and a stool. 3 little ones can fit in it all at once. A really great kitchen takes up some space but I thought it served two purposes so made it easier to get a Playhouse and kitchen. My little one loves it and plays in it for hours.

I love this kitchen, as soon as I saw it I had to have it for my kids. When we bought it my kids were ages 2 and 3 and it was awesome. They got a lot of use out of it. My only issue with it is the amount of time my kids were able to use it. As a mother that is well over 6ft tall my children are above average height themselves and by the time my son was 4 he was knocking his head on the arch every time he went in and out of it. It also limits how many children can play in it to how many kids can FIT in it. The closed design concept makes it difficult for even two small children to maneuver around on another. You cannot beat the quality or durability of ANY step two product. My mother in law has another step two kitchen in her home and it is very open and all my children are able to still use it. All around this product is amazing, especially if your children are small and you only have 1-2 kids. But for a mom of 4 tall kiddos this just didn't work very long for us!
