My son does not like to hold our hand when we are walking, but he likes to wander. This product gives him the "freedom" he wants and the piece of mind my husband and I need. If your child is also stubborn and fiercely independent--I highly recommend this!

Just bought the open, cleaned it and my son didnt wear it but saw it and started to play with it. HE loved it. Well, in less than 10 minutes the straps came off! Yes, if he tore it right away w/out wearing it. It makes me think that if he would have worn it it would prob tear while holding my son. I am gonna try to fix it and see how it does it. Im thinking on reattaching and reforce the satraps. I will let u know if it worked. So could do the same. It is cute and my son hasnt stopped playing with it. In the good side I was able to store 2 diapers, a onesie, and wipes.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My 2 year old daughter LOVES this harness, she gives me no trouble at all about wearing it and it's very handy for crowded public places like her brother's baseball games and the airport. I used to get the stink eye from baby leash haters when i used my plain blue harness but everyone thinks this lion back pack is adorable on her.
The only problems I have is that is got lumpy and shed some stuffing when I washed it the first time and it can get kinda hot when your outdoors. I still would consider it a good buy for the money:)

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
