Our graco seat came with a head support, but it was thin, oddly shaped and made of scratchy material. I registered for this, and I'm so glad I did. It is so comfy for my daughter, and does a perfect job keeping her head in place when she is in her seat.

The head support that came with our carseat is not very thick or supportive. I decided to get this one due to being able to take the infant part out later & to add a little girly touch to our unisex carseat. Very happy with the head support & is easy to put on the carseat & washes well

After I had purchased this item, I discovered our car seat already had something similar that comes with it (a chicco car seat). I am sure many others do as well. My little one loves her car seat and is supported great by the one that came with it. Also, our car seat inspector suggested only using what comes with your car seat. They were not a fan of adding other items.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This was a great thing to have when our daughter was a newborn. Her head fit comfortably in the support when she was tiny. Before she had head control, the support helped when her head was moved around in the car.
