Heard GREAT things about this product. I LOVED how narrow the seat was. You could fit 3 side by side easily. However when I was installing it I look up an install video on the internet and it showed that if you didn't teather the back rear facing and and you rocked it back and forth the anchor would loosen. I tried it and it was loosened after a few rocks. I returned it that day! I am Truely sad that it didn't work out but can't risk the safety of my son with an unsafe seat. I have heard that you will not have this issue forward facing but a huge selling point for this seat is the fact that it rear facing until 45lbs :(

I love this seat. It's safe, sturdy and comfortable. One of my favorite options are the add on pads. (which are safe to use only when included by the manufacturer) they keep the straps from rubbing my sons neck & keep me from accidently pinching his legs when doing the bottom buckle. The buckle on the bottom takes two hands to push down which I love because Ive heard horror stories of kids running around the backseat loose after they undid the carseat themselves. It is a bit tall but still fits comfortably in my Suzuki xl7 but the top does rest on the headrest of the passenger seat pulled about midway up. We still have plenty of legroom though. I was a little intimidated by it when I took it out of the box as it is a little different than carseats I've had in the past but I read the directions and now it works beautifully & is simple. The material is great too because it seems to keep my little one cool some we live in a very hot area. I would definately suggest this carseat! It's awesome & leaves plenty of room in my backseat!

I am currently pregnant with our 3rd baby and these seats are the only ones I can fit 3 across my Acura MDX. I absolutely loved my daughters and so I have upgraded my son from his frontier to the SSK too and will be purchasing a 3rd one in the next few weeks for our new baby. I love that my daughter is still RFing at 30 months and going, and it accommodates my son at 5yo's knowing they will all be in a 5 pt harness till 80 lbs is another plus. I will have 2 RFing here soon and they fit perfectly. [...].

We got this for our 10 month old son who has outgrown his Chicco infant seat, which we loved! I wanted something that would grow with him and this seat will! Unfourtunetly, I drive a 2010 Mazda 3 and this thing is VERY long. In order to fit it rear-facing I had to move my passenger seat all the way up to the dashboard anbd the driver seat up a little as well. There was no way I could use it so we put it in my husbands 2008 Dodge Ram where it fit's but it still protrudes thorugh the middle into the front seat area. On the other hand, my son seems very comfortable in it and safe which is all that we care about;)

I bought this carseat to keep my 20 month old rear facing for a little while longer (watch crash tests of RF vs FF on youtube, I won't be turning any more of my children around right at one years and 20 pounds... I will wait).

I have a 2001 Passat, and I put it outboard behind the passenger seat. I had to scoot the passenger seat up to fit the carseat, but I can still sit in the seat and my knees aren't hitting the dash or anything. I read a lot of people having issues installing it, but I got it installed in about 5 minutes, and it is in there so tight it doesn't move a fraction of an inch!

My son had to get used to the side impact "wings" that came out by his head. It makes it harder for him to see out the window, but after a ride or two he got used to it.

I feel that he is very safe and cozy in this carseat. It also helps keep my 5 year old safe. I have my 5 year old in a booster, and since boosters provide no side impact, and my 20 month old has a nice steel framed car seat, I have my 5 year old in his booster in the middle seat (we have shoulder/lap belt in the middle). I feel so much safer with both my kids better protected, and all I had to buy was one car seat :o) Most other car seats would have been too big for me to be able to fit a booster right next to it, but this one is just slim enough.

I was even able to install a very basic Cosco carseat (convertable) on the otherside so I could run errands one day while babysitting. I had 2 convertable car seats (on forward, or rear) and a booster all in the back of my 2001 Passat. It was only kinda hard to buckle the booster in that configuration. It was possible though!

Really enjoy how safe I feel my children are, and would very highly recommend this car seat.

The seat is pretty darn heavy, but it is the only one with a steel frame. You can't get the safety of a steel frame, with out having a heavy carseat. It feels really sturdy though! I can handle the extra weight knowing my baby is safe!

Purchased two seats, 7 months ago, with the intent on buying a third when my daughter needed it. A few weeks ago, the locking clip holder plastic piece broke immediately followed by the foam pad breaking in two pieces and the pad holder on the seat cover ripping while unfolding the seat that had been stored in the car that way. Apparently the seats do not like cold temperatures and really can't be used in freezing temperatures. Now the second seat has velcro coming unstitched on the cover. [...]With these problems, I am concerned if they will actually protect my children in the event of a crash?! We had another car seat for a lot longer, that was just as safe and had no quality concerns like this...and it was only cost half the price!

I love this car seat! It is very comfortable for my son and it will grow with him until he is old enough to not need one anymore. I like that we can fit it into the car and still have room next to it. It is also nice that it can be forward or backward facing. The only issue I have is with the backward facing, it really crowds the front seat. It is quite long so there is not much room for the front seat passengers legs (my husband is quite tall so he cannot sit up front in the passenger seat when the carseat is installed. But overall, love the product and love the color!

We love this seat! My son quickly outgrew his Chicco infant seat and after researching and reading reviews we decided on this seat, and we're so glad we did. It comes with pads for smaller infants and for newborns but we didn't need them. I'm also not so sure I would use it for a newborn. It doesn't recline really far like an infant seat does (It does recline though), so I think it might lack the support needed for an infant since they can't control their heads, but it is PERFECT for my son and we love that this is the only seat we're going to need for a long time. We started using this seat when my son was almost 6 months old and have used it for 2 months now. He seems to be really comfortable in it. We drive all around town and have even used it for 6 hour drives. It's easy to get our son in and out of it, the only down side is that his toys constantly fall off his lap so we had to buy a little tray to keep them on. It's easy to install and very solid. It's heavy, which can make it a little awkward if you have to move it from car to car, but my son's safety is worth it! He's 22 pounds now and we love that he can continue to be rear facing until he's 45 pounds. It fits perfectly in my car, an 07 Mercury Milan and it's in the middle seat. I would be able to easily fit another one on each side of it. We've also had passengers in the back seat with him and it's been great. Everyone fits perfectly! The shoulder straps are easy to adjust. We haven't had to clean it yet. It is very safe and sturdy.

This seat met all of my Safety and Comfort expectations. But furthermore has met the approval of my six month old daughter that was hating her infant carseat. She NOW likes going out and doing things with Mommy. Before this seat it was a constant struggle to get her in the car seat, strap her in and pray that we wouldn't hit a red light. But now she talks all the way there! I love it!!! It is very parent and child friendly and I would highly recommand it.
