I was scared to buy the car seat in this color since i have a ~3 yr old that is anything but neat. So far it is staying surprisingly clean and i am able to wipe the dirty foot prints off. I chose this color because i don't like how hot the darker fabrics get in the summer. Also this cover is made of a softer and more breathable fabric than the others. It truly is slim-lined like advertised and gives us more room between seats in the back for stuff.

There are 3 downsides - first, the seat is very low so my son has a pretty horrible view out the window compared to his old britax marathon which sat MUCH taller. As he gets taller this won't be a problem and maybe if he hadn't been used to the great view from his old seat he wouldn't mind so much. The 2nd downside is that there is no cupholder (the newer models of diono seats come with one) and the aftermarket cupholders don't seem to stay on very well at all. 3rd - it is pretty difficult to install in some cars (our subaru forester) and the directions are fairly complicated.

The seat is safe, comfortable and easy to use once installed. The 'pros' for it far outway the couple minor 'cons'. I don't regret buying this seat and love using it everyday. After our other car seats were recently damaged in a car accident i replaced them with more Radians.

It seems to be a quality product and is slimmer in design compared to others. However, installation in my particular car took an hour because the latches are down behind the car seats rather than readily accessible in the seat crevice of my car, and because the attachments on this Radian seat are so large they had to be completely inserted into the crevice and jammed vertically behind the seats to click in place. That said, if your car's latch system is less hidden than mine, then these large attachments would work nicely and have a button to easily detach them. Another however, for rear-facing installation, the carseat wiggled nearly a foot side-to-side despite my best effort to put weight on the seat and tighten the strap. The remedy was to install the top tether, which was not required on any other of our 3 car seats. I also feel it's poorly designed with 2 points that will punch into the back of your car seat at the bottom and leave 2 large indentations if not break through - so I put a towel down. I believe those 2 little points are also what allows the seat to wiggle so much. This seat also leans farther back and forced the front seat to be moved forward, to the point that I had to install it behind the passenger or else it would have been uncomfortable to drive my car (I'm 5'11"). All told I don't recommend this seat unless you can try it in your particular car or really need it for airplane travel since it folds up, yet it would be heavy even for that.

Just having twins and having to buy two of everything all at once, I've been doing a lot of research into the products we can get the most use from. This is definintely one of those products. (We'll never have to buy another car seat...) Super easy to install with the LATCH system if you read the directions. The girls fit in the seat very well even on the way home from the hospital at 5 pounds each.

My only complaint is the size of the seat when rear-facing. It is very streamlined when facing forward but takes up a lot of space when facing the rear. (We have a Pilot and have they dig into the back of the seat when my husband is driving even though there's plenty of backseat room.)

We just installed this car seat a few weeks ago. My one year old daughter loves it! Compared to other seats, I don't think it was too complicated to figure out the straps, and actually installing it is very easy. It just takes a little muscle to get the straps tight enough. The seat is comfy and breaths well. It also cleans up nicely, considering we had a blow out the first week. I couldn't figure out how to remove the upholstery, but it didn't stain or smell at all after wiping it with just a wet towel and a little stain remover. We thankfully have not had an accident, but it seems sturdy and secure. I feel really confident about my little one's safety in this seat. It is also fits great in our tiny vehicle because it is a more narrow design. It's a little heavy, but we don't intend to uninstall it very often, so this is not a problem unless you travel by air a lot. I am very happy with our purchase.

My 7 month old LOVES this seat. He cried a lot in the car with his infant seat (and I thought he just didn't like to be restrained), but now every car ride he babbles or sleeps peacefully. The cushions are super soft and I love that the gray color doesn't get hot in the sun. It's heavy, but really not that much heavier than any other convertible seat in my opinion. This seat does fit better in my car than other seats, but in the rear-facing position it has an attachment that reclines the seat quite a bit, forcing the front seat to be moved forward even more than my infant seat did. It's not a problem for me, but just something I didn't realize before buying. (It would absolutely not change me buying it though!) I love it!

We purchased three of these car seats so we do not have to buy a new car for our growing family. I can fit one rear facing and two forward facing in my 2005 Jetta. I used the seatbelt install to get the tightest fit and these seats are not moving an inch. They are the first seat I have been able to get such a good install on. They are also pretty slim and sit low so the older kiddos can get in and out on their own. This is the only seat I plan on using with our newest addition that will be here in July. The material is super soft and easy to clean quick messes with only a swipe of a wipe. The memory foam also makes this seat very cozy for out little ones behinds.

The only down part is the weight of the actual seat is close to 25lbs... however, it is made sturdy and feels very secure compared to many plastic seats.

We just got this seat for my son last week. He's 6 months and 25 lbs, so a very big boy! But with this seat I feel like he has plenty of room to grow. It is STURDY. It took me awhile to read the instructions because I'm paranoid, but in the end it was quite easy to install rear-facing with latch. I LOVE the latch clips, they are much easier than our previous Graco Snugride seat but they still feel very strong. The color of the seat is nice, it's visually appealing but not wild. Rear-facing, this seat takes up a lot of space. But I'm really looking forward to when our son can sit forward facing because then this seat will seem tiny in comparison to some of the barcaloungers out there!
