This spring ring is way better that the Jakks spring ring because with the jakks ones, the ropes would be too tight and it would bend the ring posts. But with the Mattel spring ring, the posts stay firmly in place and the ropes are still tight! I give it 4 stars because the ring posts are bigger than normal.

I bought this ring after the ring post on the Jakks one my youngest had broke and now I have to get another for my oldest because the post on his is bent...in fact a lot of the Jakks figures both boys own have loose limbs after only being owned for a few weeks after Christmas. Mattel on the other hand have very tight joints and after two months are still tight and the ring posts are solid and do not show any signs of fatigue. So in conclusion out with the Jakks garbage and in with the best figures since the LJNs

This is one of the best rings ever made! It's very durable and almost impossible to break & also there are no tiny parts at all...I highly recommend this for the little ones!

The best thing about the ring is that it has an actual spring built into the ring so the ring really bounces! The ropes are made a lot better too, they are a lot more flexible. This ring without a doubt is waaay better than the way the rings use to be made!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
