This product is great! I have a 2.5 yr old daughter and a son that just turned 5. both of them can hook fish just fine! I had to buy 2 of the product, and 2 buckets so they can "race" each other getting fish out of the bucket!

Very cute, but doesn't do a whole lot or reel in very far. Fishing in the bath tub doesn't work well because when the fish's mouth fills with water, it's too heavy for the pole to reel it in.

While my daughter & I do enjoy playing with this toy in our backyard pool, its' inadequacies make it almost too frustrating for children at an age when they're developing fine-motor skills. Second, the reel itself and its "string" doesn't retract or spool well. Last, the fishes' mouths are too agape to allow enough of the child's success to make them want to keep playing.

For the price, well, I guess it's okay. But, then again, I'm not on board with offering something at a reasonable price at the "price" of it being not worth even getting.

Let's do it right for the kids!

My 3 yr old son loves fishing . we cant always take him this is a great item for kids who love to play in the bath tub or small pool. He takes it everywhere with him. great if you dont want to buy them a real fishing pole to play with ... would suggest to anyone's kid who loves fishing...
