Love these, only had a tiny leak at night but my kid is a heavy wetter at night. Other than that they rock. I use them and then add a half liner in front of his pee pee now which fixed the issue. They are so so soft! And so thin! They absorb great, but I honestly use six layer ones from another site sometimes. Good Value, but shop around.

These cloths are really soft and fit the gdiaper good. At first I was having a lot of leaks but since being washed more than 10 times they seem to be working fine now. My son is 8 months old and is a heavy wetter. He can't wear them longer than 2-3 hours or they will leak. I use these in his bumgenius flip diaper also. I'm not a fan of the gdiaper but these inserts are pretty good. If I had to do over again I would not have bought them since they are expensive and I don't like the gdiaper. My indian cotton prefolds hold just as much and cost a whole lot less! These are way too expensive. For this resason I would not recommend them.

I love these inserts. They hold pee well, and they are easy to clean off when there is poo. When my son was exclusively nursing, there was no need to even rinse poo. They would go right into the laundry bag till wash time, and they would come clean every time. I like how absorbent they are. They are also trim compared to other cloth diapers. I have all different types of cloth, and these are my husband's favorites. I even use these inserts in my flip covers. We don't use these overnight.

Comments about gDiapers 1011682 1011682 gDiapers 6 Count gCloth Insert Medium/Large:

We had a great experience the first month or so with gDiapers, but started to find that they would leak almost immediately after our son peed. I was having to double up on the cloth inserts (we have 24), so I was doing laundry every other day--sometimes everyday! I googled how to prevent leaks on gDiapers & found a link to their site. If you go to their blog, they have all sorts of tips & tricks (I found that the reason our son was leaking was because the diaper was being put on too tightly, which is why they worked at first, but as he grew & we continued with the same tight fit, they would leak). They also have directions on how to strip the diapers of laundry build-up and stains. The blog really helped me continue happily with gDiapering.

The gCloth inserts are very absorbent. They are bulkier on my child than if I used the disposable gliners. My only complaint is that it isn't contoured in any way. That makes them bulky between my daughters legs and they tend to bunch in the middle. This isn't a problem with urine typically, but with a BM, I usually have to change both of the inner layers and sometimes the gdiaper outer cloth. It's not a huge deal since you are doing laundry anyways, as long as you have plenty of back up. I think this product would be better if it had some kind of wings that kept it from bunching.

I like how soft these are. However, every time I used them they leaked. I watched the video on gDiapers website to see if I was doing something wrong. They still leaked. So instead of using these I just use a flat folded to fit and I never have leaks. Wish these absorbed more liquid, my little one just goes too much too fast for them. They also take a really long time to dry.

We love the gDiaper system! We use cloth inserts during the day. They are super soft and just absorbent enough to last from one feeding to the next. We found them to not quite make the cut for overnight. They are the only way our sensitive skin baby has remained rash free!

I'm glad I started with just a couple of these things. They're terrible!

#1. They're very over-priced. This is the yuppie version of cloth diapering.

#2. They left blisters on my daughter's hips. The snaps that hold the liners in dug into her skin. It didn't matter how they were positioned. It got to the point she screamed every time she saw me pulling the gDiapers out.

#3. They are not absorbent- at all! I ended up cutting the inserts apart and just using the hemp layer as a doubler for my pocket diapers. The microfiber itself did not absorb anything. It was very inferior to other brands.

#4. They are poorly made. The "velcro" came off after the second wash.

Do some research and find a cloth diapering system that is worth both your time and money. This isn't it.

Comments about gDiapers 1011682 1011682 gDiapers 6 Count gCloth Insert Medium/Large:

Well, I've been a Gdiaper user since my baby was around 2 weeks old (she's now 14 months) and cloth diapering with the Gdiaper system really suits me. However, if you go on different cloth diaper websites, many of them totally dismiss Gdiapers in favor of all-in-ones or other types of cloths, so do a little research to see whether they'll fit your lifestyle and preference. If I remember correctly I think my daughter went to size medium covers and cloths when she was around 4 months old. She's now moving towards a size Large cover.

Pros - the cloths themselves are amazing! They have been pooped and peed on so many times that I am in awe of how smell-free, clean and soft they always are out of the wash! Gdiapers are cute and also slimmer than some of the others out there, but the trade off is that you have to purchase size small, medium, and large covers. My daughter rarely has any issues with diaper rash when using G's. Using cloth, I was really freaked out about what the poops would be like once my LO was on solids, and it's not too terrible actually, and I've NEVER had a blow out that escaped the actual Gcover (most poops will get a little on the liner, but that's it). I really like that I don't have to wash the cover and liners every time if it's just a pee, and I think that's a key advantage of Gdiapers over some of the other systems. It also means you can get away with buying less covers. I like that the larger cloth will work with the medium and large covers. I've recently started my LO on the size large covers and I've found the cloth to continue to work well with the larger cover. When I'm at home with my LO, which is a lot, I have no problems using the Gdiaper system with cloths. At home, I don't find any slight leaks to be a problem. I also have confidence that the Gcloths will hold up with my 2nd baby.

Cons - while absorbent, the cloths can leak a bit through to the Gcover, but nothing terrible and mostly it stays around the sides. The fit of the liner/cover/cloth does take some getting used to and some trial and error, but I've found that once you get it down, pee-only diaper changes can be exceptionally quick and easy. I can't stop my husband from using Desitin even though it stains the Gdiaper cloth and our baby doesn't need it! What can I say, I seriously can't stop him, so the size Medium Gdiaper cloths now have grey stains on them too, although it's cosmetic. But try to not use diaper cream with the cloths and to get anyone who changes the baby to hold off on it too! The cloth still couldn't contain my LO through the night, so I ended up switching to the Gdiaper disposable pad at night only, and that works great, but it's too bad that the cloths couldn't handle the job. My husband doesn't like using the cloths when we'll be out longer than 2-3 hours because he thinks we need to change her right away if she pees at an inconvenient time (versus disposables where he's ok letting her go longer). That's the nature of cloths I guess, but it is a con. I will mention though that I think you can wait a little longer to change the baby if you need to with the disposable Gdiaper insert. As an aside - I change my LO a lot, so don't think that I let her sit in her pee (or poop)! It's just that as you know, when you are outside there are less convenient times to HAVE to change a baby, especially when you live in a city. While not a con on the cloths themselves, the Gcovers have disappointed me by having the snaps come off and/or the velcro come apart from the cover on close to half of the Gcovers I've owned, and I've had to sew them back together. The fact that I'm still a happy user though is a testament to how happy I am overall with the product, and the cloths have a lot to do with that!

Tips for Gdiaper users - make sure to velcro the cover to itself when you wash them, and separate the cover from the liner. I also try and take the covers out of the dryer early to help extend their life. If I'm in a pinch and need to do laundry but ran out of size med/large cloths, I've found that I can usually grab 2 of my size small Gdiaper cloths to insert into the medium or large G cover and that will help me stretch until I get a chance to do the wash. To help extend the life of the liners, let them air dry instead of putting them in the dryer for the whole cycle. Don't use diaper rash cream with the cloths (see above!)

Comments about gDiapers 1011682 1011682 gDiapers 6 Count gCloth Insert Medium/Large:

These are the even "greener" alternative to the biodegradable inserts. I figure, if you are doing diaper laundry anyway, why not use the cloth inserts? If it's because you don't want to handle items that get poop on them, well there will be times when poop gets on the diaper itself anyway, not to mention on baby's clothes. So you might as well go with the cloth inserts. The diapers themselves can leak a little if you aren't quick enough to change the inserts, but I expect a little leakage with such a trim diaper.

I love that I can just change the insert, I don't have to get a whole new diaper. I also bought extra liners (the plastic part that snaps into the diaper) because sometimes those get soiled and this way I don't need a whole new diaper. The inserts can also be used to double up other cloth diapers as well. Sometimes I will use them as doublers at night or when I know I won't be able to change him for a while.
