I don't know what people are complaining about. It's a play tent, not a real deal camping tent. It's held up by those flexible poles that other play tents are held up by, and made of a coffee filter type material. The top is open so it has really good ventilation. I like that it's rectangular shaped, rather than round, so it takes up less room. I put it up on the bed and my almost 3 year old "camped out" in it all night. I put in his pillow and his little feet could stretch out through the side hole. The pictures are so cool on it, and he likes to throw his animals in through the top like basket ball. Really fun for not too much $.

My three year old got this for his 3rd birthday, and he LOVES IT! (So does the one year old and the husband!) I think its a wonderful toy, we've only had it a couple days and its been a tent, an animal home, and a tunnel for his cars to go through. I read some of the bad reviews and am very surprised. Yes, it does fall down if you get to rough with it, (as kids tend to do, especially ours) but its not hard at all to stand back up, my three year old can do it already. There was nothing on the package advertising that it was a tent, so not sure why everyone was so disappointed that it wasn't. I much prefer the open top anyway, adds to the fun, and its a toy that will grow with him, as he won't get to tall for it. Our family is very happy with this toy.

I just bought this product and it is awful. the instructions did not make any sense and the tent its self is just awful. I would not recommend this product to no one.It is now in the trash can where it belongs. I could have and should have bought something else..lessoned learned

Flimsy, doesn't stand up. Only a few places to insert the poles. Half of the tent is left sagging with poles exposed. Am returning asap..

When we first seen this we thought the concept was great being that our son loves dinosaurs. My son opened it on Christmas, we put it together and it hardly stood up straight. At two years old he barely had room to play with his dinosaurs in it, when he did try it would lean to one side or tip over. We returned this the very next day!

I would agree with other posts that this product is "flimsy" and "boring." I wish the top could be closed off a little and that the structure was a little sturdier for a wiggly little body. I would spend the money on a different product.

We actually bought this tent for our 5-pound chihuahua to play in, as he has taken over our cats' play tunnel. He loves it! It's plenty big and stands up fine, even with him jumping on the walls of it and trying to run through the sides. He likes to look at the outside of the tent and it's easy to put away when he's done with it. It says in the description that it has an open top, and it isn't advertised as a tent, because it isn't one. If you are looking for something for your kids to run around in, look no further, but if you want a tent go somewhere else.

This was by far the worst purchase I have made as a Christmas present for my child. It last about two days. Once it flattened out it never stood up again. She was extremely sad. The open top/tent idea was not a great one either.
