My almost 2 year old LOVES workermen and asked for a "workerman hat" for Christmas. We decided to go with this hat, thinking the headlamp would be a cool bonus. The hat totally doesn't fit (it's very shallow), especially when the lamp is attached... it just falls forward over his face because of the weight. The straps don't help at all and are very akward when they're being used. The lamp itself has actually never snapped up like it's supposed to, and it stopped working completely a couple weeks after Christmas.

My 2 1/2 year old son got this for Christmas. He immediately put it on his head and forgot about his other gifts. He played with it most of the day. Then, I had another 2 year old over. He put it on his head and loved the watching the light shine on the wall, floor and everywhere. He had a lot of fun with it too. It's a great toy for small children.
