My son who is now 4 has had these flashlight for almost 2 years now and he still plays with it. We've replaced the batteries several times and it still works great. It is durable as well because my boys can be rough with toys. It has withstood being dropped multiple times and my 2 yr old also enjoys playing with it. Great flashlight for kids, especially Toy Story fans!

I purchased this Evil Dr. Porkchop flashlight for my 3 year old son, who is a HUGE Toy Story fan. This was a GREAT toy: it helped with his fear of the dark, has three great sayings from the movie in the original voice, and kept my son entertained for several days in a row.

It is still one of his favorite toys, but it recently stopped working. So, I changed the batteries and still...nothing. It just stopped working. Which is too bad, because my son who has autism - has a difficult time - when things 'break' or 'stop working'. I will be returning this item to Toys R Us, because we spends tons of money on toys and this item is just very poor quality. It should not have stopped working so soon after purchase.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
