Product Description

CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.

Playmobil Knight Playset: Dragonland Carrying Case. Have fun when you are on the go with the Dragonland Carrying Case. This easy to take-along playset comes with two figures and horse equipped with armor, crossbow cannon, and many other accessories.

Once upon a time in 1876, there was a locksmith named Andreas Brandstatter. Mr. Brandstatter planted a magical seed that would eventually blossom into Playmobil by founding an eponymous lock and metal fitting company in Furth, Germany. By the 1930s, Playmobil's pretend play had again been redefined; manufacturing telephones, cash registers, and various items for toy shops using sheet metal. At the beginning of the 1950s, Horst Brandstatter, the Playmobil's current owner, came on board and started a new era in the company history. He updated Playmobil pretend play products, searched out new markets and focused production on his favorite material, plastic. In 1958, the hula hoop craze gripped the world, and Horst Brandstatter was determined to perfect the pretend play toy that would inspire further exploration. Realizing that the technique, using air pressure, hot plastic hoses, and shape molds, could also produce basically any shape (in addition to the traditional bottles and hoops), Mr. Brandstatter created the first prototype Playmobil pretend play item, a closed racing car manufactured in a single production step. From that point on, the company expanded rapidly with products in toys. Playmobil was introduced at the 1974 International Toy Fair in Nuremberg and by using an innovative marketing strategy, parents and children responded uniformly with fascination and enthusiasm, to Playmobil.

Most played toy in the house

By Super Mom

from Atlanta, GA

Comments about Playmobil Knight Playset: Dragonland Carrying Case:

To the mom who thought there were too many little pieces - I once felt the same way. We had some playmobile toys for several years that never got played with and had 1,000 little pieces collecting dust. And then my boys suddenty reached the age where they "got it." At ~ 6 years old my boys developed the imagination to play with their playmobile stuff for HOURS on end. And all of those itty-bitty pieces? They spend HOURS changing out weapons, changing suits of armor, re-arranging their armies, etc. I could never have imagined how they would grow to love and play with these. The knights and pirates are constantly battling in our house. Just proves, high end $$ toys never go out of style and really the best. Highly recommend. Age 6+

Comments about Playmobil Knight Playset: Dragonland Carrying Case:

My Kids LOVE playmobil. (And I do too, unlike the other mom who rated this item.) We buy playmobil BECAUSE it has so many pieces... call me nuts, but Playmobil gets played with over and over and over. It mix and matches and interchanges with all the other playmobil sets and provides for ENDLESS creative play time for my kids. Every one enjoys it from my 13 yr. old boy and my 11 yr. old girl on down. All their friends want to play with it too, then they go home and ask THEIR moms to buy playmobil. We have built quite a collection over 10 years, each child asks for more at every holiday and birthday! Many toys have come and gone over the years but playmobil is one toy that we plan to keep forever.

Comments about Playmobil Knight Playset: Dragonland Carrying Case:

Very cute idea...BUT! Where do I start? I am really bothered by the fact that I had to put SO many teeny tiny little pieces together! Such as cuffs on their tiny little wrists! That is insane to me that playmobil doesn't already have such tiny little details already in place. Then when they are put together you have to be really gentle with them because they come apart easily. Spend a little extra and buy the other ones on the shelves next to playmobil. They are already put together and very sturdy!
