An assortment of your favorite friends from Thomas & Friends as motorized engines for the TrackMaster motorized railway. Push them along or flip the switch to watch them chug along by themselves. Each engines comes with an added trailer car or tender for added play. Motorized train track play compatible with TrackMaster playsets. Each in a Clamshell blister package.

    I have just purchased James, to go along with one of the Trackmaster sets that already came with Thomas. I've noticed James is slower than Thomas, but that could be because I have not changed James' batteries yet (he still has the original ones for demo purposes) All of his sounds are clearly understood, and he moves along the track just fine, except for where the track splits off, he sometimes has trouble there, whereas Thomas is fine, everytime in that same spot, which is why I only give it 4 stars. This particular style train may not be 100% suited to all track sets. Granted it is not the train that originally came with that particular set (because the one that did moves along perfectly on it) but still, if they're all trackmaster, they should all work perfectly together. Despite that, my son LOVES these trains! He gets so excited watching them go around the track... or on his carpeted floor, when he's being silly.
