    I have an 8 month old, we were using Similac Advance because we got free samples from the hospital and then just never switched after that. However, we had to find something new - OVERNIGHT! - because of the recent recall.

    It seems like we have tried just about everything there is! We tried a Light Blue/off brand container (won't say name) and he spit up and pooped like it was his job. NONE of this happened with the original formula from hospital so this was new for us, frustration begins! So then I thought maybe we needed the gentle kind, since he was spitting up so much. Soooo, we tried formula in a Purple container from same store with the light blue container (if you've also been comparison shopping, you'll know what store these were from). Same thing-spit up, poops, and formula clumps.

    So while I was comparing all the labels out there, I came to find that most formulas are the EXACT same label but that EXACT SAME LABEL wasn't working for us!!! Our original formula label was just A LITTLE differnt from all the other kinds out there.

    So, I was checking online at Babies R Us, found this one and actually thought since this said "ADVANTAGE" and our first formula was "ADVANCE" that it would be similar. It is the closest one I have found, that's for sure!!!!!

    We have been using this Babies R Us Advantage kind for 2 days now, and he is no longer spitting up, he is finishing bottles again, and his poops are normal. This formula mixed very easy - no more formula blobs! I am VERY VERY VERY impressed with this formula and will only use this from now on!!!!!! I haven't even mentioned the price! It is so cheap. Also the cheapest formula I have found when doing my comparison formula shopping. But don't be fooled by the price--be happy of the price!!!! Some cans of this Advantage even have 45% more for the same price!!!!

    Just like it says on the can, ask your doctor first. And all babies are different, I realize this, but I was getting so frustrated because almost every formula out there has the EXACT same label - and that label wasn't working for us! So to close this VERY LONG review, either I am dumb and couldn't find it, but I also got frustrated that I couldn't find the labels online. So here is a comparison of labels--"ADVANCE" listed first, Babies R Us Advantage listed second. Again, I hope this helps someone else!!!

    I hate to tarnish this formula's perfect rating but have to be honest. I received a sample in the mail and was very excited to try it out as we have been paying for Similac Advance for the past 9 months and were hoping a cheaper option would work just as well. After 2 days of our daughter spitting up WAY more than usual we went back to the Similac Advance and now she just spits up a little. I don't know why it would make such a difference when the ingredients seem so similar but my husband and I noticed a lot more spit up so will continue to get the expensive stuff for the last 3 months.

      We used the Similac Advanced brand for 4 months and my son did good with it, but it was so frothy and foamy. We tried to switch to other name brands and our son didnt take to it very well. Then we tried the Babies R Us version of Similac and our son loved it! Its not as foamy and its a GREAT PRICE!!!!

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      the same as Similac Advantage)seems to keep my son from being gasy as he was with similac.
      The price is better too. Also, you can buy it in the 25oz can.

            I have been pumping my breast milk for the last six months first every two hours now every four. I wanted a formula that was gentle on my baby's tummy so we started with a name brand. Then they had this on sale so we tried it and we love it. She gets alternating bottle of breastmilk and formula all day long. She loves it, no gas, no foam, easy to mix. So glad we tried it.

              BRU brand mixes better than the Similac (doesn't foam) and it's the same exact ingredients for a much lower cost. Stock up when they have promos going on. Sometimes there are coupons under the lid.

                      We tried several national brand formulas, but didn't like the price. We decided to try off-brand formulas, and had horrible luck~they just didn't agree with my son's tummy...until we researched and tried BRU formula. What an amazing formula. No frothy foam. Dissolves easily. Easy on the tummy. Very similar to Similac, but half the price. Price is right. You get coupons on top of sales all of the time. Just doesn't get any better than that. Wish it came in bulk so I didn't have to go back every couple of weeks.

                      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
