I was hesitant to purchase this produce because when I sat in it in the store it was wobbley, therefore causing me to question the quality. However, I did purchase this glider and it is perfect. Very comfortable and sturdy.

We just received the item at our baby shower, so our review is only of initial quality and assembly. In terms of assembly, the instructions only show drawn black and white pictures, and there are no words. Because of this, assembly is rather difficult and frustrating. Assembly of the movable parts is especially tricky and unclear. It took us about an hour to get through the first few steps, and the remainder took us about another hour. When we selected this item for our registry, the BRU staff member in the furniture department said it took about 30 minutes to assemble. I think this is a bit of a stretch. We also got tied up because a major component was damaged out of the box, and although the BRU staff was extremely friendly and helpful, it was a bit of a fiasco to resolve. Feel free to check other forums and websites as there are many similar problems relating to assembly. Once you get through the assembly, it seems to be decent, stable, and comfortable. It is one of the most inexpensive glider and ottoman combos, so you sort of get what you pay for.

I was not expecting to have to assemble this chair. For the price I paid I expected it to come fully assembled. I did manage to put it together with little problem, despite the instructions being vague. The chair is very comfortable, which is why I purchased it after trying it out in the store. I have not had it long enough to comment on its durability.

Our baby boy is due Feb 1st and my mom got us this lovely glider/ottoman combo for the nursery. My husband put it together in about 30-40 minutes. It could have been quicker however the assembly instructions weren't too great. I assisted by snapping the arm rests on and tying the cushions on. The glider does what's it's supposed to do...GLIDE!! It's very smooth and the cushions are super comfortable! I'm 5'11 3/4" and hubby is 6'2" and the height of the chair is comfortable. I notice that the back cushion passes the frame...not sure if this will present a problem but it is something that stuck out. Overall we're very happy with this gift and purchased the 2 year coverage plan to ensure we can enjoy it for years to come!!

My husband and I are very pleased with this product, though we have only had it set up for about a month. I have not used it with a baby in my arms yet. It took time (and two people) to assemble, but was not difficult. It is beautiful, smooth, and comfortable. It is a worthy purchase!

I did not put together this glider (my dad did), so I can't speak to the assembly. But I can speak to the comfort of the chair itself--I love it! This has been a great addition to my nursery and very relaxing to use as a first time mom easing into nursing etc. Use it with the boppy pillow while breastfeeding. It works perfectly.

I regret asking for this. I have had it 10 months and its shot. It doesn't rock smoothly and it creeks. The seat is uncomfortable too.

For baby number 2 I knew the basic rocker I had wouldn't work after 4 years of wear and tear. I wanted something affordable but nice. This chair was perfect! The price was a little more than I wanted to pay but for the added features such as the reclining and locking it was well worth it. Only wish the seat covers were machine washable slip covers instead of spot clean cushions.
