This mattress arrived yesterday. After removing it from the box, I immediately noticed it seemed incredibly soft, not firm as a crib mattess should be. I went into my 18 month old daughters room to feel her mattress...sure enough, hers is very firm in comparison to this one (the one we got for her is no longer sold or I would have gotten it again--she has a no longer available model of Simmons Beautyrest). I will unfortunately be boxing this mattress back up, returning it and replacing it with another Simmons.

This mattress is okay, its a little softer then i would like, and i think the quality is not going to hold up past one child.

We needed a larger sized crib mattress to avoid the gaps on the side. This mattress was exactly what the measurements said. The sides are nice and firm so they own't collapse under the babies weight.

This was the third mattress I had purchased and I am satisfied..feels very sturdy and fits super snug in our crib. Question to all that complained about it being 7in thick, have any of you actually measured it? because the detentions listed on this website are not correct. I too have a crib that states not to exceed a thickness of 6in. and that is exactly what this Sealy is. Its nice and supportive and the size is perfect.

i bought this mattress because the first one i bought didn't make it to two years! this bed is nice and firm and easy to keep clean. it is totally worth it to spend the $ on a toddler bed i wish i would have got it in the first place.

It's not right that there are poor reviews because a person was negligent in reading how thick the mattress is and how thick a mattress should be for the style crib they purchased. I purchased this for my son. He is now 15 months. I am purchasing another for my daughter due next month. This is a great mattress especially for the money!! I worked for a furniture company before and we sold mattress' so we had bedding training atleast once a month. I know how important it is for a growing child to get not only a good nights sleep but for their bones to grow properly. We cannot recommend this enough!!

Wonderful mattress. My daughter never had a problem sleeping on it and all sheets fit snug and perfect. I don't think it's fair that some gave a bad rating because the crib they bought requires a 6" and this is a 7" that's not the mattress's fault.

Had to send it back because the crib I bought had a big sticker on it saying not to use a mattress more than 6 inches thick. This info was not provided when I ordered the crib.This mattress is 7 inches thick.
