We believe that life around the table is incredibly important. As an adult, we have the luxury of being able to rest our feet on the floor, allowing us to move freely to get comfortable. For your child, there is no such luxury. TRIPP TRAPP therefore features a unique, adjustable footrest that brings the floor up to your child.           Registered for this chair while pregnant but didn't realize that it's not set up for an infant until my daughter was 6 months old. Found the infant attachments to be extremely pricey. Also read some reviews about the risk of the chair tipping backwards with an active infant. Tried to make an EVEN exchange for a chair more well-suited for our family. Was referred to corporate because I was out of the the 90 day return policy (new parent? hard to evaluate EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT and return them in 90 days!). Got email after email passing the buck. No one called me back. Woman named Donna 2571 claimed to have done an "extensive internet search" looking for negative reviews on the chair and failed to find them. I typed "stokke tripp trapp chair tipping backwards," and found plenty of commentary to make me weary. I am suspicious that she lied to me about doing a search, or that she is not competent to do such a task. Either way, this interaction has highlighted the defective and impersonal customer services of the company. NOT A FAN of Babies R Us. The inflexibility of the return policy in this situation is unacceptable. Would NOT recommend anyone register here as a new parent as you may get stuck with things that may not work for you or your family. Customer service is sub-par and hugely disappointing. Lots of other places to buy the same baby stuff for the same price or less with far more reasonable/realistic return policies.
